mike matusow cardplayer.com video on "coin flips"
fluxer replied to fluxer's topic in General Poker Forum
I didn't know which event it was but I could try that. -
Does anyone have (or: can anyone find) the cardplayer.com link to the video of Mike Matusow so eloquently expressing his views of the No Limit tournament players that just "go all in hoping for a coin flip." I believe it was right after Mike busted out of the tournament and he was discussing how he lost 5 or 6 coin flips. I remember someone posted a link to it here a few months ago but I wasn't able to find it using search. Thanks.

no limit vs. limit which requires more skill & why?
fluxer replied to chipchow's topic in General Poker Forum
That is just about the dumbest statement I have ever read. -
#1 free-roll with an extremely passive table (no one raised me, did they? I didn't think anyone would, which is why I limped)#2 I was having fun because it was a free-roll and I was gambling -- I had something to do if I didn't get a big chip stack fast, which was my intent; I had a pretty good shot at getting a big stack fast, too.

what have you guys done... LOL looks like I need to get a new web host as it looks like I've exceeded the bandwidth limit Sorry, not only is this post off-topic but it's now been rendered useless and I can't delete the post with a reply... oh well. -
Ooops... admins please don't delete this -- it's somewhat poker related since my blog is usually about poker. Sorry if I'm disturbing the forum community, but I don't think I am... here goes:Go to http://www.WiredPairsBlog.com/ to vote on the HOTTEST actress in my recent entry on my normally poker-related blog... I didn't know where else to post this, just thought it would be interesting for some people; it's not a bad poll to look at, either I think I have an idea what Royal's vote will be...

Yes, you're absolutely right. That's why I was a 84% favorite to win after villain called my all in with one card to come.

I knew what he had and played it as such. I had him killed the entire time, 70+% fav on every street to the river. That was an absurd call.

There is almost always a "correct" move in limit while there is not always a "correct" move in no limit. I suppose that's why limit is boring. (Sure.)Oh yeah, and an excellent poker player will win more at no limit than limit if he is equally skilled at both. That does not take into account multi-tabling.To say the real men play limit is ridiculous... it takes a lot more heart to be very successful at no limit. The money will go to the better players a lot faster with no limit, period.I play both limit and no limit.

Smash: not that I would expect you to post anything else, but you must not have a very trendy fashion sense. Not that that's a bad thing but Oakleys aren't even trendy, they're just good sunglasses.I have the Oakley's I linked in the post above in the a silver frame with ice iridium lenses (I'm not sure if you can get this combo, I got it from Oakley as a custom combo because I needed prescription lenses made)... I rarely use them for poker but they're great sunglasses.
