I was just on neteller today and i think they have changed there policies so that Canadians can now open US dollar accounts. Which is obviously worthwhile for poker players as all the transactions are in US dollars. And you won't get killed on currency exchange fees from your Poker account to your neteller account. As long as you don't deposit from your Bank account to your neteller account you'll be ok. Since i already have my entire bankroll on neteller or the poker sites in US dollars i don't need to make any deposits to Neteller from my bank account.

Well maybe i said it wrong but is more for when im playing poker and i need a quick break to get over taking a beat. I go to the gym, run, and play hockey for physical activity. This is just to get me refocused

Anyone that has been watching the forum of late will have noticed that ive been on perma-tilt of late partly due to things that have nothing to do with poker but i won't get into that. My new thing is playing checkers whenever i get pissed off playing poker i just go play checkers. lets me be competitive, forces me to think rationally and there is no bad beats in checkers.

And the moral of the story is...........Don't play tournaments at Party. Plenty of good tournaments at Stars and Full Tilt and they don't freeze

Wow your really smart. Do you realize how much more Canada exports to the United States than vice versa. The United States has very minimal natural resources and realies on Canada for most of it. Im so god damn sick of hearing "Why don't you just go back to Canada" or other derogatory remarks towards Canadians while playing online poker. I don't quite understand why people feel as though its ok to make fun of someones nationality when it has nothing to do with the situation. Does anyone have any tips on the first hour of MTT's once i get through the first hour im fine but the first hour I completely suck. I litterally think im one of the worst players in the tournament for the first hour. I almost always get to the break with less chips than I started with. Once i get some chips to play with and the blinds go up im a way better player. So can anyone give me some insight into a good strategy for the first hour.

Im not exactly sure about this ive never done it myself but i think how it works is when you got all in you quickly rebuy and so you grow your stack. Apparently a lot of players will go in when they are confident they have the best hand and then rebuy so that they can get a bigger stack.

Im useless i couldn't even go a day without playing. This is terrilbe i need help although i did take the cinci kids advice and im starting back down at .5/1 and im gonna grind my way back to 5/10 following proper bankroll requirements. Golf is frustrating ill admit but poker is 1000000 times more frustrating for me. At least with golf i have complete control over what happens if i miss a 2 foot putt its my fault and thats just the way it goes but poker I can play completely perfect and still get destroyed, therefore ill take golf anyday in this respect. See thats the problem i don't even know if im a winning player. My bankroll has come mainly from two big cashes for about 2900 total, 200 of my own money and 1400 or so from playing limit. My winrate is 2.03BB/hr at 5/10 through about 7000 hands. The problem is this really isn't a statistically significant number and although I feel like im on a bad run of cards ie. after having had KK 30 times ive lost 150 dollar on it. But for all i know im just a losing player who got lucky for a while.

I don't know im starting to think that poker just isn't for me. Im beyond frustrated i feel like i can just never catch a break. Which more likely means im just doing something wrong. I was just in a 30+3 tournament and nothing was going right so i decided to just push all in with Q5 not cause i thought i could take the pot away just because i didn't feel like playing anymore. This is a very bad line. Why in the world are you gonna flat call with Jacks. You a intice a bunch of people to limp behind you reducing your chances of winning and you have no idea were you stand in the hand. At least if you raise you will find out where your at.
