The information these cards provide is already available from lots or sources all of which more reputable than your friend. Im not exactly sure what you used for bankroll requirements but he has 200bb at .25/.5 which is not that far away from the 300bb standard. Considering how terrilbe the play will be at .25/.5 he can easily play premium hands and get them paid off with little risk. If he's decent at all he should be able to survive at that level and grow his bankroll to proper levels

I would probably recommend starting out playing .5/1 LHE shorthanded. Your bankroll is still a little light for that but I would probably start there anyways

Im pretty bad in terms of tilting just like you. You can search some of my posts and they're pretty much the exact same thing you just did. I don't really know what to tell you but the only thing i can suggest is when you start to tilt and play bad get up from the table. This is the one thing i've learned. I still go completely nuts hitting things, swearing, my face is probably as red as a tomato. But at least im not playing. Im not saying this is at all healthy but if you can't stop playing (like me) at least learn to stand up and walk away for a while. I went on a small bad streak of about 6

I think it would be pretty bad on FCP's part to ban talking about other sites even from a strictly business sense. All they would accomplish by doing that is pushing some of the forum veterans away and these are the people who made opening the FCP poker room possible. Without the group of regular forum participants the FCP poker room would have taken a lot longer to get off the ground. As far as i know its not good business practice to push away your oldest customers. Not to mention that as much as i don't blame him for it Daniel did bascially hi - jack his fan base for his own personal gain.

Im down on FCP probably about 200. I haven't really given it a chance but as long as I keep winning on stars I have no intention of playing on FCP again.

I don't know what you're talking about since the WPT is only large events. Any of the other events the happen at the same casino before the main event have nothing to do with the WPT. They are run by the casino.

They usually between 3.5 to 4 hours to completely finish.

Ok so I have this friend who really likes poker and he is at best a break even player at 2/4 LHE. Lately he has gotten a very good run of cards and then a very bad run so his bankroll went up to about 900 then dropped back down to 350. He is clearly still playing above his bankroll. I've tried to tell him to drop down and i've tried to tell him to take a break when he has a bad run and stars playing badly. I guess you could say i've gone broke plenty of times but it was when i started and would deposit 50 bucks on party turn it into 200 cash out 100 blow through the other 100 deposit somewhere else blow that. And then repeat it then next month. But since my BR got up above 1000 i haven't gone broke.

Based on the posts about people getting sucked out on so far i've come to the following conclusion. Pokerstars found out that all the FCP people were playing in this and is purposely screwing us all over because we all started playing on FCP instead of stars when FCP opened.

By the way you really shouldn't tell somebody they have an anger problem right after they get knocked out of a tournament on two stright bad beats it really does nothing to help the situation.

Well im gonna go punch threw a wall now first hand i have AJ raise to 90 UTG guy with 400 chips pushes all in with A9 i call spikes a 9 on the river. Very next hand im bb with K9 flop comes KQ9 i bet he raises i reraise he reraises and i go all in after he types "can't stop now" he flips up QJ and spikes a 10 on the river.
