  1. Hm, I mostly used Sharkscope for tracking my own stats, but maybe it would be smarter to not do that publicly...I like it that Pokerstars puts a stop to datamining the results of donk&gos, MTT results should be made public though.
  2. Interesting video, thanks. Although it didn't matter anymore, the last hand was funny - like a kick in the nuts when he was already lying on the floor. ;-)Do you think villain has any chance of getting away from his aces there, or how would you have played it?
  3. Hm, the odd raise - putting more than 50% of his stack into the pot - indicates that he probably is an donk, so I'm not sure whether he's trying to lure you in with aces or looking for a chance to fold if you come over the top... I guess you can find a better chance to commit a big portion of your chips - you have decent odds+stack to take a coin flip, but I think even when villain is an idiot that you are dominated more often than you dominating your opponent here. This is such a weird spot that you just have to fold in my opinion.
  4. What are you afraid of? You accomplished your goal of getting BB involved in the hand postflop, and you have no way of knowing what hand he has, and losing won't hurt you much -> so push it in and hope that BB only has a J or a draw...Don't limp on the button with KK here if you aren't ready to get all your chips into the pot postflop when BB seems to like his hand. Or even better: Don't limp with KK on the button at all.
  5. Ok, that's an explanation, but that also makes these stats mostly useless...
  6. But you win the pots you enter very, very often - no hand has made me even nearly as much money as AA in LHE...Some hands that aren't that obvious that I like are TT and KJs, and 22 has been pretty good to me as well.
  7. Apparently I'm a "red fish", lol... The info about me is incorrect though, I wouldn't take that site too seriously.ETA: Funny, I am 100% certain I never played the hand they saved for me there - it says I lost a 400$ pot with KK, but I have never been in a pot that was even nearly that big...
  8. What do you think he calls the flop bet with? The J is a scare card, but it isn't that bad imo - unfortunately you don't have a lot of information about villain's hand here with him just calling, but I think you are still ahead of plenty of hands to make a bet here profitable. And as far as I can see, the only reasonable bet you could make would be an all-in push.
  9. Well, at best freerolls are a tedious way to make some money, at worst a waste of time - you won't learn much and you're unlikely to win money.I think there are sites that give you a couple $ for free just for signing up - I don't have a link available, but maybe someone else here could tell you details. I think that would be a better start than freerolls.
  10. Does that matter? If Hero takes the pot down on the flop, he would increase his stack by almost 40% compared to the beginning of the hand - that's huge and not a bad result at all. I have no idea about MP2, might be a monster, might be trash...And if UTG is a typical 4.40 player, it would be almost impossible for him to fold any pocket pair, imo.
  11. Hm. Standard would be "push preflop" I guess, but I think I like the call here. UTG doesn't have to have QQ+ to make this raise, but I'd be surprised if he'd do it with a hand he wouldn't call a push with (which would probably be a coin flip at best then), so I think looking at the flop isn't terrible. On the flop anything but a shove would be a mistake though in my opinion, there's a lot of money in the pot, you have an excellent - yet somewhat vulnerable - hand, both opponents look weak and any other raise would more or less commit you to call a push anyway.
  12. I didn't say "great", but I wasn't being sarcastic either, I like the way he played it, looking back - he kept me guessing and had total control over the hand. Of course he got a little lucky on the river, but I do think what he did was +ev.
  13. btw. I think villain played this hand very well, he had Q9o.
  14. Yeah, sure, please do that.
  15. I can't remember ever having consciously put anyone on a certain hand just by evaluating what the amount of time he took for making his decision means. And who know if villain let the timer run down because he spilled a cup of coffee over his keyboard or because he has a difficult decision?
  16. Click tells - hesitating, insta-calling, insta-raising, letting the timer run down, etc. - are at best unreliable in my opinion, usually they are completely meaningless and trying to interpret something into it is like trying to use telepathic abilities. ;-)Some people do so many different things while playing online, even if it's just multitabling, that your time is better spent thinking about your own play and your opponents' betting patterns than about the amount of time he takes to make a decision...
  17. Umm, I wouldn't mind trading places with him...And yes, it is at least a strong indication that he is a good player.
  18. Whatever anyone might think about Laak as a person, this story is so obviously total bullshit that I can't believe it is even being discussed halfway seriously here.
  19. Preflop raise is standard here?I'm often quite insecure from the SB with marginal hands because an open raise always looks like a steal and I'm OOP. I think BB seldom folds here. And doesn't donkbet/3-bet show more strength than checkraising here? But I agree that is a stupid move usually.
  20. Yeah, i can see why I should raise pre, I usually do, sometimes I don't in multiway pots - but that may be due to running bad and never hitting a flop so obviously a mistake.
  21. Fold probably, but I don't know if that is correct. I recently noticed, that with hands like AK/AQ I often use the line raise pre - bet flop - check/fold turn when I miss the board. That might be a serious leak, I'll have to look into that.I usually fold the river in such a situation too, because I saw, that A high almost never wins in such a spot, but his bet seemed fishy to me somhow here.Sorry for posting all the hands in one thread, I thought it would be better than making a new thread for every single one.
  22. At the beginning of the session, so no significant PT-stats on anyone (there's a lot of player fluctuation at this level)I'm on a rather bad downswing at the moment, and I'm especially losing a lot of money in the blinds, maybe I'm a bit of a calling station, I don't know.Any comments about these hands are appreciated.1)PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J. 4 folds, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, MP2 folds, CO calls.Flop: (10 SB) 8, 3, 2(3 players)Hero bets, BB
  23. What? Why not just play the hand like hero and see the showdown for the same price?
  24. Why do you see the river as a particularly scary card? Who is MP2 - Aggii3? - I'm a bit confused there. If villain is Aggii3 I'd push all-in on the river - I wouldn't be able to put villain on a flush/straight here.I think the check on the flop is a matter of taste, but in no way a big mistake - I don't even see it as gambling to slowplay a little in this situation. I'm not sure about the river-check though. Is this really a tough decision, you can't seriously be thinking about folding, or can you?
