  1. I personally thought Daniel had a great camera connection in the "Tilt" series. Acting would't be that big of a step. Since the topic has risen, it would be interesting to see a poker movie that didnt revolve around the negative aspects of the game.
  2. I'm fully aware that I'm new, but I still wanted to speak my peace about something that I've noticed since gracing this board. It appears alot of the community forgets what this place is exactly. This is Daniel's corner of the web. This is in regards to the person above saying it's lame that Daniel wont respond to questions like this. People create blogs and forums to share their life and interact with people that have an interest. Daniel more then likely didnt respond because he knew that someone would answer it.If you play in a BMW poker tourney with the prize being a 2008 model, don't
  3. I'm sure he finds enterainment in it, if not, he can pwn us all!!!Rambo, he's ready, one man army!
  4. My overly seminal contrabution to a new phase of poker is this:Only pay out the final table. I feel this is a good counter-strategy agaisnt the amount of unexperienced, untalented, mediocre players making it through field after field. It puts the pressure on for good play and optimal performance. And have one tourney a year that is winner take all. The bubble is second place. It's all or nothing. Or with the WSOP getting so large, here' s a though:If you have 6000 entrants into the main event, break that down into 6 fields of 1000. The winner of each meeting at the final table with an equal
  5. This is an interesting question. I say that because even though Doyle has all the experience, I feel even though he's playing solid, he's not playing his best game. That uncanny ability to convince the man with the set he's beat seems to have turned passive. He reactive, instead of proactive.Just maybe, this new GSN show can start something? But he's amazing. Greenstein just doesnt do the tourney. He's an opportunist. He's the very foundation of preaching to pick your spots and always have the edge. I'm going to have to say the scale leans in...Greensteins favor.
  6. Givin the situation, the high stakes, the enviornment of being something new, and finally the level of play potentially at this table, regardless that Daniel lost, I feel he played some of the best poker in quite sometime. It's been said already and been beaten to death, but it still needs to be in a neon sign, quit thinking because you played a decent game, and have read a couple books that you have the game figured out. the cliche' "a second to learn and a lifetime to master"Daniel's game was completely sound. Aside from the river cards, it took people like Doyle flopping a fullhouse to tak
  7. While it is a distinct advantage over a real game, it's an expected advantage. Online poker is what it is. If you dont expect people to be aiming each other their hole cards, if you dont expect possibly a few people in a huddle around the computer, you are being naive. The fantasy of winning an online satellite to a big event is huge to many people. I've personally went to a friends house to literally, and I'm not joking, see the dad, mom, sister, friend, home game "expert", all huddled around the player aiding him in his decisions. I laughed my ass off, but the point is, Certain variables
  8. Joe had over 38 million to Steve's 17million (approx.).Plain and simple, these are two new faces to the poker world. to be frank they are novice players(though Joe has a mean game). Steve had top pair with an open ended straight draw. It is heads-up. He just took a pot off of Joe with J6. It was not rigged. Coupling Steve's easy going approach, making it further then he expected, and poker story's past, he had enough to determine that he would put it all on the line. This pocket cam makes everyone talk like they would handle the situation any better. I'm pretty confident that over 3/4th'
  9. The set of 10's people are referring to wasnt from the WSOP main event. Just a televised reverse self-imposed lemming play. haha. One of you nailed it head on, Kanter doesnt play the opponent, he plays his hand. Unfortunately, he had a hot run of "legend killer" plays. I say unfortunate because with his outrageous play on Raymer, we now will have players across the nation calling all in's on the flop because they have a backdoor flush.(not that that happened, but to up the ante even worse). My father indicated that even know it was a horrible decision, Kanter simply made a misread. It was fea
