I'll be at the trop playing 1-2 all day saturday if anyone see me feel free to say hi. I'll most likely have a black Ohio State hat on. I plan on playing the $100 tourny at the showboat saturday night too, really just playing that for fun and to pre-game before hitting up the kasbah at the taj with some of my buddies. So if you see a dude downing beers that is probably me.

I'm waiting for the s/w. You can't be serious man. If you think the taj is beautiful you should really consider heading over to the borgata, it will blow your mind.

I played to 100 like 6 months back or so. My first table was super weak and I ran it over, then got moves to a table of people unable to fold. There was probably like 60 or so in it. Be ready to inhale tons of second hand smoke.My advice is go play the 7pm at the showboat. If the buy in is 100 you start with 15k in chips, if it's 50 you get 10k, and the players are bad.

A better question is, why is Tim Hardaway's opinion even relevant at all? To be totally honest I could care less if John Ameichi is gay. I couldn't figure out which I cared less about this dude being gay or Anna Nicole Smith dying. Neither one are news worthy if you ask me.

I am trying to get some freinds together to go down for the $300 on the 10th. If anyone can post some info on the structure that would be greatly appreciated.

I was there all weekend and they only had the 4/8 game going for about 2 hours or so. I was in the 7pm tournament so I didn't play, would have liked to though.

That is what I thought, so I threw the dude $2. The rest of the time I was there I didn't see anyone tip one of the chip runners. So I got confused.Thanks for the answer checky.

So I just retruned from my first vegas trip. Had a great time.I played at Caesar's and when I sat down for my $1-2 seat, instead of going to the cage for chips a chip runner went and got my chips for me. I gave the dude $2 figuring you tip dealers, why not tip these guys too. He gave me a semi strange look when he took the tip. For the rest of the weekend I don't think I saw anyone else tip these folks. So my question is, does one normally tip the chip runner?

there was a rebuy and add on in the satellite last year. Joe Sebok talked about it on the circuit. I'm going to be in Vegas the weekend of the satellite, considering playing if I can get a few extra hundred together. Anyone else playing?

when I went over the hand in my head afterwards I thought the same thing.As for the second hand. After I thought about it for a minute or so I mucked. When I was getting up to leave, he pulled me aside and told me he had pocket aces. So I was behind the whole time. In thinking about the hand more I feel like I should have checked the turn, to try and catch the flush for free, calling my re-raise probbaly should have told me that top pair was no good. any other thoughts on playing this type of hand is still welcome.

I was playing live at the Tropicana in AC this weekend and played two interesting hands with top pair and a flush draw.The first one was against the tightest player at the table. I think the Colts would have been a better match up. But they did beat the Pats in foxboro and almost made a nice comeback at the Meadowlands. I don't think a win is completely unreasonable.
