Amazingly More Annoying Than Mrs Shulman At The Me
SlowPlayedNuts replied to keith crime's topic in General Poker Forum
Not a huge fan of the man but i think the key is that he does not belittle his opponents. He looks like a jackass but that is on him. He never says anything about how poorly anyone has played or mock them in any way. Humberto gets in your face and brings his opponents in to it which I think is completely different. I don't get why the NFL cracks down on Chad Johnson grabbing some pom poms but doesn't do anything about all the guys who get in each other's faces jawing after a 4 yard gain. -
I was check out the videos on cardplayer.com, made me lose all respect for bluff magaizne.

List Of 62 National Heads-up Poker Players
SlowPlayedNuts replied to gatortom64's topic in General Poker Forum
I do belive the man qualified for the WSOP TOC last(?) year. Not a huge fan of the man; he did help spread bad music through out the world but you need some game to make it to the TOC. -
Has anyone else watch the videos of the FT? The two guys doing the play by play needed to just shut up. I did enjoy all the times they just KNEW Ivey was going to raise only to watch Phil much his hand. I would have rather listened to the drunkin guys cheer on Tony G then listen to their horible comentary.

Do those electronic tables allow you to know how many "chips" each player at the table has or only how many you have? -
What Should They Play At The Horse Final Table
SlowPlayedNuts replied to KULLMANN's topic in General Poker Forum
I think it is sad that the WSOP would care more about what makes good TV then what takes good poker. -
If you were dating liz lieu would you have to invite your girlfriend to your poker game or would that still not be cool?

True, but it's not like Matusow is living in a cardboard box behind the Bellagio. He has a really nice house from what I hear yet he constantly claims to be broke.I tend to believe that Mike is close to broke. He does own a house, but I wouldnt be suprised if that is his only major asset. He's also said that he has borrowed against his house a number of times. I love Mikey, but he is too much of a gambler to hold on to any money for an extended period of time.I know, you just have to feel bad for the guy. He's destined to go from flat broke to millionaire and back to broke again as much a

The key is how many POY points did he get and which home game did he hit up after pile a couple more on -
Do you think the spike guys will be quick enough on the *bleep* to keep up with matusow or will they just give up after the first episode and sell the show to HBO

The stud games usually have the biggest pots so they're hard to avoid. Like any limit tourney you need a rush to win and if it happens in Razz you will be bummed. I usually open up during these (RSE) because internet players on the whole are stronger at flop games. Also the RSE games have much bigger pots. The Limits/Antes increase with each game not each round. If you go to a Full Tilt HORSE tourney lobby and click on the $ on the bottom bar you can find their structure. Thanks for the help but i have another questionDo you find that reads on a player work for each game or do most players chang

I am in the same boat as the OP and would like to expnad my game to include more games. What structure do HORSE tournys follow? for instance is it limit holdem? Do the limits increase with each game change or only when you get back to holdem again? Also i know that razz will be my weakest game should i just try and drift to the background durring these rounds or will that kill me?

I had played poker for change as a child but spent most of my teen years taking my classmates money in hearts and eucher. I didn't a little too well and lost my action untill we caught a late night replay of 2002 WSOP and holdem became our game. Now I don't have to worry about losing action because everyone thinks they are the best after watching an hour or two of ESPN.
