Congrats Daniel. Patience, hard work and focus pays off. And sleep!Too bad we couldn't watch the final table from Toronto
-
Out 28th in an absolutely horrific Stud beat for a top 3 stack.I'm killing the MSOP (cashed in 7 of 12 events I've played, and 11 of the past 19 tourneys I've played on Full Tilt), but keep getting unlucky late when the real money arrives -- I've gone out in 4 events in the final 3-4 tables, always on a bad beat, in the $100 PL, the $10 NLH tourney with 5120 entrants and a massive prize pool, the O8, and now the HORSE.. and for good measure I final table bubbled at least one rebuy I was playing at the same time. Bah.

As played, agree with check/fold. Sure it's possible he called on flop to bluff, but in a limped multiway flop he could easily have you crushed and you don't have much invested. Just move on and wait for a better spot. Would have raised pref for sure though.

Out - oh well, 2 for 2 in mini-WSOP cashes at least.Gl Tanner and anyone still in.
-
...or not. Saw that KQ vs AK hand, tough one
-
14k at 3rd break - going backwards
-
Bah, lost 6k with KK vs AT and QQ vs KQ. The play has been "freeroll-bad" at my table, especially compared to the $100 PL yesterday. Still in good shape with 15,477 at break.

23,000 in chips, 5th/2800Kept playing hands against weak player who overplayed hands, finally caught him and jumped up a ton. Otherwise no big hands so far but nothing goofy either.

That's Guy Laliberte though, billionaire, so he just paid to try to learn and play with the best. If HORSE results were included, he'd probably be down $10,000,000. Man, Gus Hansen is just a degenerate - lost another $326,000 yesterday. Durr was actually big loser for the day, down $340,000. You have to be so mentally tough to deal with those daily swings and not eventually explode.

I cashed, but went out 33rd. Great idea of Full Tilt's though - I don't play over there very much, and I'll probably play almost every day this month. I also wish this contest wasn't just NL events, but cool that someone organized it and gl to all involved. -
Out in 179th with JJ to AQ, meh.Nice run in the $3r
-
Still in, 4th break. Middle of pack, 227 left. Such a goofy crapshoot tourney - it's so lucrative that I can't resist playing, but seeing horrific play constantly rewarded just makes me angry. Plus people play so slow that we're barely getting 9 hands/level.
-
This crazy prize pool attracts a lot of higher limit players
-
What is it?I went pretty deep in this one - out around 150. Just a crazy crapshoot after the first few levels though. I never got my money in bad, and won 9 of the 14 times I was allin, which I guess is running decently.

Great game. Was $800 really your biggest cash at Stars before? If so, extra congrats on the score.
