from what I have heard of this hand and what I have read/saw(daniels video blog) it is questionable as to how I would play this flop..... now im gonna say how I woulda played this, personally I would have pushed and tried for a double up or to get to an average chip stack... from what daniel has said though with the smooth call and trapping people he played it right because he is able to read people and out play them post flop... I mean if that was the read I had on the table that I was playing I would completly make the exact same play.... generally speaking when you see someone flat calling

ace on the river is a good read... didnt read zen and art of poker yet... but I would deff recomend ace on the river to anyone

was playing 2-4 limit at my local casino the other day and i always go there expecting to be playing with a lot of donkeys and take some bad beats but this one just topped it all. i got dealt JJ UTG+1 UTG raised i rerased, the SB calls and he caps i call SB calls. the guy that capped this caped everytime he was UTG the gun no matter what he had. board comes out 7J3 rainbow UTG bets i call SB calls. turn is a A completing the rainbow UTG checks i bet SB raises UTG folds i reraise SB caps it at 16 i call. river brings a Q she bets i raise she reraises i think and have her pegged on A7, so i rera

Thanks for the responses i have discussed this with a few people that i know and it seems that i am getting about 50% think i played it right and about 50% think i should have just smoothcalled but as rocket said i put the squeeze on the UTG because he was really active and i knew he wasnt strong enough to call that. as for after the flop I dont think i could ever lay that down unless i just had a perfect read on the player, which i thought i did with big slick :doh: oh yea and as for being close to getting the seat there were still over 100 people left at this point i ended up finishing 74t

are you only playing limit cause that is what it sounds like. a friend put 50 dollars online and played sit and gos on party poker on my computer. We won a 5 then moved to a 10 then won that played a 20 came in 2nd played another 20 won that. basically within 5-6 hrs of us sitting here and going hand for hand and discussing decisions. we ran his 50 dollars up to a little over 600 in a few hours of playing strictly sit and gos.good luck with trying to turn it into 5k
