There is a download available from both pokerstars.com and pokerstars.net just incase they maybe only blocked one or the other.Otherwise I would just download at your house and put the .exe on a disc and install that way.Good luck

A SNG can really be any amount with any number of players (3 or 4 tables even). Its just a tourny that starts when the preset number of people sit at the table.

Oh yea absolutely 3 lower pair should always beat 2 higher pair, its much more difficult to get. Its time to rewrite the rules of poker.

I am still a firm believer that 2 sets should beat 4 of a kind. I lost $82 this morning with KA vs JT. Board Flops KKJ Turns J and Rivers J. Guess I'm glad I only had $82 sitting at the table cause that could have been VERY expensive. KKK JJJ with Ace Kicker should beat JJJJ ;P

i dont know the statistics, but I know I would rather play a high suited connector, TJ+ in a 5+ way flop then I would a pocket pair. I have never folded AA in my life and dont see myself doing it.

I use my checking account into Firepay (www.firepay.com) and then from Firepay into Stars.

Pure rubbish. Ive seen these things in live games, partypoker, stars, ultimatebet, fulltilt, u name it. The cards dont hate you and the sites get the same rake whether they have action or not in a tourny so there is no interest to manipulate the random generator.

I have had this conversation with people before and you will never come to a concrete answer as the bottom line is the answer is a mixture of both. There is no question it is a skill game that has luck.It all comes down to odds. Over the long haul if you play the correct implied and pot odds and continually make +value bets you will be the longterm winner. You can never avoid that 1:23 river gutshot that gets hit on you (which some call luck, but really is just beating odds).Thats my spill anyways

The theory is good, but the logistics would be a nightmare. You would have to get each person ( 1st, 2nd 3rd assuming just 10 played and 3 payed) every week to transfer their winnings to this 'lockbox'. Doing this twice a week and having everyone agree and understand would just be horriffic in my opinion.The point system alone would be a nightmare.
