  1. If you are talking Main Event results, then yes you are right. Chans 3 year run is the greatest accomplishment ever. However, the greatest accomplishment for the whole series would have to be Phil Hellmuth in 2003. He won 3 bracelets and took 2nd in another event. Also, in 2001 he won a bracelet, got 2nd, 6th, and 9th. Then capped off the Series by finishing 5th in the Main Event. Had his 9s held up against Gordon's 6's he would in all likelihood finished 1st or 2nd. Both amazing and unparalled results
  2. Phil Hellmuth Jr. Poker at its finest. Get your oppenent to get their money all in drawing almost dead.
  3. These blinds are pretty high and are about to go up. Looks like this could be over an minute now.GO PHIL!!!
  4. That is something Stu Ungar did once when he got carded at a bar. He took two stacks of 10k out of his pocket and slammed them on the table. I think the drinking age at the time was 18, and he asked how many 17 year olds have that much money.
  5. Did I understand that right? They are gonna play down to the final 9, which Daniel estimates will end at approx. 9 am.Playing almost 19 hours of poker in one day is ridiculous. It's going to turn into an endurance test, not a poker game.WSOP is run by monkeys
  6. Chip Reese:Amazing all around poker player.Due for a breakthrough in a tourney.
  7. I think Scott Huff does an excellent job. He keeps the show flowing nicely. He prepares very well for every show and has good questions for the guests. I love the Circuit and look forward to listening to it everyday. If only their updates and WSOP coverage could be that good.P.S. I had my pocket 19s cracked again t oday!!!

    paul phillips

My favorite part about Paul Phillips is that he makes it his life goal to rip on Phil Hellmuth. However, he has not accomplished a fraction of the things Hellmuth has. I give it to him that he has been sucessful in life, but poker is not his main area of expertise. He is not a donkey, but come on. Phil Hellmuth has accomplished so many things in poker, and for Phillips to constantly rip into him is so childish. He made the biggest deal out of the whole "jopke" thing which I dont find funny in the least. I'd like to see Ryan Leaf start taking shots at Peyton Manning and seee how well that would
  9. I honestly believe 24 is the greatest TV show ever. Once you start watching you can't stop. Last year I was at a friends house while he was watching season 4, I went out and bought the first 3 seasons the next day and watched them within 2 weeks. Daniel, I recommend you watch the first 4 seasons ASAP if you plan on watching season 5 on TV. Charters from past seasons always seem to pop up at unexpected times and it makes the show so much better if you understand their significance. I will warn you though, watching 24 on DVD really spoils you when you watch the real thing week by week. I hate ha
  10. Ive thought the same thing nearly every year the WSOP rolls around. Part of me thinks that since he was such a great player(maybe the greatest of all time) he would be able to adapt to any situation and dominate like he always did. On the other hand, Ungar was known for being aggressive and fearless. He was great at sensing weakness and bluffing players out of pots when he felt they would lay it down. At the WSOP today you can't do that at all. First of all you have so many donks who can't be bluffed and on top of that there are so many people that just want to beat the pros. As you saw when L
