I play pretty much 30 dollar or less tourny on pkrstrs. When you get heads up, if you have a ton of chips you can wait out an all in maniac. If your down something like 3/2 or less in chips and your m is really low than any face card is good. Good luck

Yeah the use of the word overbet is an oversimplification, but i am pretty sure that on the hand in question it was an overbet lol. Overbetting that much when facing a raise by dn that early in the tourny, I think is hardly a positive ev play.

I think you have to really look at how your playing. Are you playing good for short periods and then get impatient? Do yuo tilt after taking a bad beat? From the looks of your posts it seems like whenever you get on a winning streak you tend to play over your bankroll. I tend to this online more than live so I know how your feeling. Don't give up. If you love the game start at the low limits and build up a bankroll or play in some home tourny's Good luck

Looked like DN was pointing out the guys overbet cause he wanted to play flops and he wasn't getting to. I would have said the same thing hoping that would somehow manipulate the players into playing smaller pots. Overbetting is poker though. It might not be good poker but it is NO LIMIT HOLDEM right?

Didn't Allen Cunningham do pretty well with just a couple rebuys? Don't see anything wrong with coin flipping early then if your still short maybe pushing in blind around the last level before the rebuy period ends. DN has a good point though with his "buying the bracelet stratagy". 48g's to him is a small price to pay for a chance at another bracelet. Interested to hear what you guys think
