I was reading a chat/transcript with Gus the other day and he did mention that his luck had not been very good lately in the 4K/8K big game. He obviously did not specify the amount he has lost (like the 4M that everyone has reported for some time) but none the less, he did admit to being down for sure.FWIW....

Man, #3 above is what is the most difficult part I have found to deal with. I generally do not give in and break but in the scenario you spoke of above then I would certainly lean stronger towards doing so. So much depends on the oponent on that one b/c I have had players re-raise, stand pat on the last draw and have 10 high?? One additional thought I have seen is people standing pat on the last draw without a great hand but doing so out of fear on paring up on the last draw? Has anyone seen much of this?

For myself it has become my most profitable game. Does anyone know if any casino's in Vegas spread this without it being part of a "mixed game"?

We got any 2-7 players here from UB? Starting playing that game over the last several weeks and just wondered if I was playing with any FCP'ers?

Question for Daniel or anyone who can answer.When Daniel talks about playing the 4000/8000 game I noticed that there is no mention of Howard Lederer. I had always assumed he played in the "big game" as well but he never seems to be mentioned.So where is he?
