The villain is NOT playing straight ABC poker with bets like that. If you assume that the villain is playing ABC poker, then it is probably safe to assume the villain is playing tight PF and is frequently betting post-flop. Based on these bet sizes, there is a 95% chance the villain is a weak/tight donk.I normally raise the flop, but occasionally float to set up the turn raise.I strongly recommend a larger raise on the turn. Local casinos vary their requirements. I know at my local casinos, the bad beat jackpot is only awarded if both hole cards of both hands are used and it specifically says kickers do not count (a hand which makes up a 4-of-a-kind must have a pair for the hole cards). So at my casino, [5 5] on a board of [5 5 x x x] qualifies, whereas [A 5] on a board of [5 5 5 x x] does not.If nothing is explicitly mentioned, then A6 *should* qualify as a 1-card hand on a board [5 5 5 5 K].

Cashing out can kill your bankroll at the micro limits. I strongly urge you to try and hold off cashing out as long as possible. As other posters have said, get a part time job for your extra $50 per week.

So I was playing live in a small tournament and was getting low on chips. I was down to 8 BBs and was into shove-or-fold mode. It folds around to me on the button, so I am obviously shoving ATC, especially when both blinds are tight and have no concept of PF shove/call ranges. BB wakes up with KK, but I river a straight.BB says, "nice suckout."I just deadpan back, "thanks."
