I'm sooo addicted! Soooooo this! I will be making ironman for the first time next month.
-
WOW... I just read tha_sika's posts. If you're him, then you should just be IP banned from FCP. Take a hint.
-
Oops, thanks JJJ... I missed that line when I first read the POY thread. Oh yeah...I just grabbed the wording off of the FCP player of the year thread title. It sounded wrong to me, but I was too lazy to find previous featured member threads to get the wording correct.

Some guy I know.

Did I miss something? We're 19 days into January and there is no new player of the month for this month? We might as well make gibler321 the player of the month for January 2010, because I have it on good authority that he's having a pretty good month pokerwise.

I opened this thread expecting to read about CVs (as in curriculum vitae).I'm sorry to hear about the poor service. When she threatened to call the police, I would have responded with, "Please do, in fact, let me call them for you so that I can report a theft." It is so likely that someone skimmed 2 pills off of your prescription to sell on the black market. I think the best move would have been getting the police involved, but alas, that obviously takes up so much time and hassle that they know most people will shirk away when the pharmacy staff threatens to call the police.

It's against the Stars and Tilt TOS, so don't use it.

Xtracey - Pearljammer's Girlfriend Hacked

That's nothing: FTP took just over 9 weeks to ship mine. I was merely saying that there should now be some options on FTP for those of us who are concerned about the security of our accounts. -

FTP now has RSA tokens. -
Glad to know that I play like two other HU players...

I guess he didn't settle for $47K after all...

Anyone of note still in this thing? (sw)GLGLGL Gibler!
-
He's already aiming for back-to-back FCP POY titles...
-
He was in a predicament that most people would give their arm and their leg to get out of. Sounds to me like he got a pretty good 50% off deal.

Looking For Advice On Options
Merby replied to fright101's topic in No Limit Texas Hold'em Cash Games
I think Max has made a good analysis of the villain's range, and I agree completely. I came up with the same range so I would call. -
Raise or fold pre. Most likely folding pre unless this is a good table to steal.
-
Bet bigger on all streets (except PF -- that looks fine). As has already been discussed, lead at that flop (I suggest $3).In the unlikely event that you opt to check-raise the flop (for example, a misclick check on the flop), you need to check-raise larger. Pot raise at that point is $7.25, but I make it larger being OOP against the bettor with one tag-along caller. If I check-raise here, I'm making it ~$8 in order to set up the turn shove.

I like how Ellaine starts her post seemingly in mid-sentence.

...Then you get banned.

Not that it matters much, but pot was 105 on the flop: SB folded pre.

I'm rusty on my tournament play, so others can chime in with better advice...I fold this sort of hand PF this early in the tournament. No need to get involved with a trap hand at this point, especially w/o reads. This type of hand is more likely to get me into awkward spots than not. At a table where 3 opponents are calling a 5xPFR, I play tighter and raise for value, but do not start caving in and open-limping (especially when it folds to me).If we make it to the flop, then I am firing out close to pot on this drawy board. The flop bet of 75 isn't too bad actually, but I prefer closer to
