Do 8 tablers HAVE to have 2 monitors? I would think that one monitor wouldn't be enough.

For all you multi tablers, a few simple questions: I can comfortably play 3-4 limit hold'em tables on PS. But for all those that play 8 or more tables at once, aren't you just playing your cards and nothing else? I mean, whatever happened to "playing your opponent". With 4 tables, you can at least track playing styles, weakies, etc... It just seems it would get complex with 8 tables. Also, I'd think NL players would have to play fewer talbes. any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I looked up Mike's tournament record on Hendon Mob, it's not too impressive for a "famous" poker guy.

The Rio should have brought back the Tournament Director Matt Savage. Look at the current Director did: any proficient dealer would have known the right outs.

I just busted out (well got crippled) of a MTT calling an all in PreFlop with KK. The guy had AA. I lost the hand, but it got me thinking. These tournaments involve more luck we might think. I believe the winner of the tournament will have to catch "better than average" hands and "better than average" flops to win. It's not like skill vs. skill in a poker tournament. It's more like luck vs. luck. Bad beats negate the skill involved in these tournaments and it's so unfortunate. I don't know, what dya'll think?

The Dealers need to be given some slack here. Those dealers are dealing thousands and thousands of hands every day. They're not robots. Most of them make very few mistakes and they should not be berated. they've got a tough job and probably don't get paid enough. Also, Harry was probably in the 1 or 10 seat position which can be tricky when protecting your cards. maybe he should have done a better job protecting his cards. Now if he was in any other seat position, the dealer was probably out of line.

Yeah, that would kick ass, but whoever takes the weekend and plays DN for $500 in all of those games is very likely going to wind up losing money. You've gotta figure Daniel Negreanu is going to be a prohibitive favorite over *anybody* on the forum in at least 5 of the games: Golden Tee, Blitz, Showtime, and both of the heads up poker games. He's probably going to be a favorite over *most* of the people on the forum in both 8-ball and 9-ball. Now, if he'd agree to raise the stakes in the H.O.R.S.E. game to $5000, then I figure I'm very likely going to win money off DN even if I'm a big underdo

Why do people play limit? It is a fun, skillful game. Why have all of Daniel's challenges all been limit? Why are the biggest games in Vegas limit? There is definitely a huge skill factor in Limit.

I had A-10 hearts, limp in with several callers. Flop 2 hearts, someone bet 15 and I call with 3 others. The turn is a heart (no straight flushes possible). I check raise the original bettor (who is the chip leader with about $800 behind him) all-in and he IMMEDIATELY calls. He had 9-4 hearts. I had 350 behind me and doubled up. It was pretty sweet.
