Wouldn't be easier to win at 2k/4k or 1k/2k ? I don't think DN could beat a table with the likes of Phil Ivey Chip Reese or Doyle. no ****. I'm wondering what characteristics he has that make him so succesful as a lot of people don't know to much about him. It would seem DN would know more than most since he has played with him.

Just wondering what this guy does to make him so successful. Is it just the plain fact that he doesn't tilt and plays every hand the way it should be played without letting emotions get in the way ? I can't even watch the tournament poker anymore. It's just horrible now. After watching this show the others just suck. This is the kind of poker I loved about season 1 of the WPT. A lot of post flop play. I hate the all in crap. IMO it does not make for good TV.

Where I went broke playing poker ? I've never went broke playing poker so I'm not to sure what your talking about ... your #'s are off for the percent of day traders who make $. What is it ? 7% of poker playing playing online make $ ? I don't mind those odds as I've been winning $ for a long time. If you do it right and are disciplined, you CAN make $.

I recently actually just started day trading. I've done it for 5 days now and I've made a total of 3100 dollars. I'm up at 6 researching, ready to buy when the market opens at 630 PST, and I'm done all my trades and made my hundreds of dollars by 7 o clock then back to bed or I play poker for an hour or 2 and make another couple hundred and my day is over by about 10 or 11 PST with maybe 2 hours of work. Just to say something, the whole "it has ties to the mob in Jersey/Philly" basically just means that they are having to pay off the Joseph Ligambi mob family in that area to operate. They control all the bookmaking/loansharking in that area and you can't operate without paying them off. Or you will be killed. So you either don't pay them and die or pay them off so you can operate. There's nothing more to it than that. Everyone in the area has to do the same, as in New York and other major mob towns. I'm a big mob historian so was just wanting to clear up those O.C. facts.
