Very bizarre! My system couldn't log in to the server (full and couldn't accept any more players) until I clicked on 'Tournaments' rather than 'Ring Games' on the FCP client. Suddenly, I'm logged in, registered and ready to play!!

Nope - I've ot 8 minutes to go by my watch and I still can't get in, either using the FCP software or the Java.If the FCP team are watching - what happens if the system won't let me on to play? Is that just one of those things?

I'd just like to say that I'm a little disappointed that the Round 2 tourney is programmed for 9pm EST midweek. I live in the UK and, as much as I want to play, I'm not sure that my Boss is going to be too amused when I turn up for work on Friday completely exhausted because I've played a tournament that starts at 2am UK time!! I was able to play one of the weekend Round 1 tourneys, even though it meant that I didn't get to bed until around 0430, because it was a weekend and I didn't have to work the following day.Just a request for the FCP management - please try to bear in mind that you ha

Definitely my favourite poker book. Not a great deal of strategy and poker theory, but a very well told story of a Brit turning pro for a year and his trials and tribulations. Jim McManus has a similar self-deprecating sense of humour and doesn't seem to take himself too seriously, but I still preferred Big Deal to Positively Fifth Street. It's nice to see two authors who don't try to sell themselves as the greatest poker players in the world, but seem grounded in reality and acknowledge their limitations and faults - much more realistic to a beginner like me!!

Does anyone know if/when they will run any others like this one? The Party Website doesn't seem to mention them and they're not showing in the table listing.

Do they still need beta-testers or is it all under control?Also, in case anyone from the developers or publishers looks at this site - are they planning to release the game in the UK? The only websites I've found it on so far are American and it's not listed on any UK software sales site that I've been able to find.
