  1. My WSOP will likely only consist of one week this year, somehow getting a ME seat not withstanding.I am targeting Sat. June 11th thru Sun. June 19th.I will be playing the:1K no limit Sunday June 12th. (3 day event)1K Senior Friday June 17th. (3 day event)Cash, Satty's and golf in da middle
You have my cell. I'm good whenever
  2. I've had some coaching lately and one of the main things he's been telling me is to check in these situations to try induce more action and get more value so this was what I was doing here. This flop was only slightly damp and knowing mahgenta I was actually surprised when she didn't bet here. I do agree I should have made it at least 3X or 3.5X pre being OOP and the CO limp.
    Get a new coach
  3. You do realize that not everyone will be happy with your ruling right?? This was a huge problem and unfortunately not everyone involved is going to be happy at the end of the ruling ... no matter what type of ruling is used.
I'm just trying to say that your idea would make zero sense in any poker situation. Killing a hand and returning all bets probably makes the least sense of anything I've read in this thread.
  4. Didn't look at spoiler or any other replies ....Unfortunately, I would have to declare the entire hand dead and give everyone who put chips in the money back. i would then give the dealer a stern lecture and penalty of sitting out for an entire round. Then redeal and proceed as if it never happened.
Are you serious? This is an awful awful awful awful awful idea. "Sorry you got it in with the nuts, but we're punishing you and saving the other player!"The correct ruling for a bar league is definitely the one that keeps everyone happy. Recreate the board, reshuffle the muck, and proceed with the hand. Or if it is a super casual league ask the two players involved what they would like to do to make the situation right.
  5. I can guarantee that Scott Seiver is not somebody that Daniel is talking about. He's the last thing from a nit and is talkative at the table. No offense but your read on this is really off and being able to read people is a very important poker skill. They just shot another 6 weeks of episodes so I'm sure if Daniel is thinking about anybody in particular with his remarks we won't see their play until those six weeks of shows are aired.
Don't worry about responding to him Bob. Clearly he's trolling again to try and drum up interest in his campaign to get on the big game. Maybe he should just hang out outside the tapings and preach to anyone who will listen. Sounds like a profitable idea. I'll bring the tomatoes.
  6. Back off man. I'm tryin to build my "Kuge" brand. This is the perfect opportunity for me to break into the entertainment biz. My name alone sounds wicked enough. Daniel would get credit for "discovering" me and will get 1% of my lifetime profits.DANIEL REMEMBER THE TIME WE SHOOK HANDS LAST WEEK!?!!? OBV I AM "IN" WITH THE COOL INTERNET FOLK ROFL LOL OMFG WoW TRIBES AND **** YO! I'LL EVEN PLAY ALL MY HANDS BLIND AND PRETEND I'M ANNETTE AND MAKE SNARK COMMENTS. BUT IT WILL ALL BE A LEVEL WHICH WILL MAKE IT THAT MUCH BETTER.tl;dr: nonsense

  7. The concept of the show is great: Regular people can qualify for the show through a series of online freerolls, showing that they can play the game. After which, they submit audition videos, a small number of players are chosen to be staked with $100,000, and, if they finish with more than $100,000, they loose cannons keep the profit. But, from what I understand (through a PokerStars rep on 2+2), some of the loose cannons didn't go through any of the online qualifying tournaments. Some of the loose cannons have been simply selected to play based on other criteria, such as who they are or who they know. From what I understand, this weeks loose cannon - Aaron Jensen - did not go through the online qualifying tournaments. This is disappointing, and it's similar to a tournament at the WSOP a couple of years ago (not sure which one?), in which all of the players needed to qualify. But a couple of additional players, including PH, were added to the field as sponsors choices. A lot of people weren't happy with the way that the event was set up. It didn't seem fair. The Big Game is a great show. But, hopefully, there will be more regular people being brought in to play through the online qualifiers and video auditions.
Oh no! I smell a lawsuit!!!
  8. noyorong. You might have a chance if you were to qualify for the audition video.Did someone hack Justin's FCP account? His post seems to be a little out of character.
To be fair you are extremely annoying and cause people to bash you. So technically your begging is the reason loosh has been making comical posts aimed at you.
  9. Chris Rose : Welcome to another week here at the big game, and we have a new loose cannon, DCJ001. He's been doing everything he could to get on this show for a long time and he finally made it.Joe Stapleton: That's right, he has been hounding us through every media outlet for about 6 months now and he's finally made it. Let's get right to the action.(Cut to table seating DCJ001, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Jason Mercier and Vanessa Rousso)Vanessa: So I heard you tried to get on the show really hard for 6 months? Congratulations for getting here! :)DCJ001: (douchebag tone) Actually it was more like 8 months, I told that to production too. I mean I was pretty clear on how long it exactly was but they somehow still messed it up.Vanessa : (blank stare)(Poker hand takes place where DN loses to a rivered bigger fullhouse)Daniel: I'm telling you, these cash games on TV are just so brutal to me. That happened to me like 5 times alone on High Stakes Poker.DCJ001: (quickly interjects) Actually Daniel that precise scenario happened to you only twice on HSP. Once on season 1, vs Sammy Farha where you both flopped sets and once on season 5 vs Patrick Antonious where you both flopped 2 pair and rivered a full house. If you want to count the quads hand vs gus, I guess you can but you clearly said fullhouse vs fullhouse. Even that one though, would leave you at three (3) times, leaving you two (2) times short than what you just claimed. (DCJ then flops top pair with AJ in a 3 bet pot and stacks off for 300bbs on a JT8 flop to Vanessa Rousso)Jason Mercier: Wow that had to be the biggest pot yet on this show!DCJ001: (out of chips and about to leave the table) NO ACTUALLY THERE WAS A BIGGER POT PLAYED BY DAVID "VIFFER" PEAT AND ANTOINIO ESFANDIARI. (pulls out smartphone, types on it for a bit and shows it to Mercier)Jason Mercier: Did you really just show me a wikipedia page to prove me wrong? (looks at him and laughs)(DCJ001 exits stage right)Phil Hellmuth: What a whiny little bitch. And I thought Barry Greenstein was a miserable prick.Barry Greenstein: **** you.
    Exactly. Brilliant.
  10. If I get confused by a PokerNews post, I sometimes point out a probable mistake. Quite often, they thank me and make the corrections.Calling people names, like you do, doesn't accomplish anything in a positive way.If you're serious with your well wishes, as I believe you to be, I appreciate it.
Lol @ confused. Give it a break man. Your jig has been up on this forum for years. I highly doubt you'd get picked for the show. It'd be funny though.
  11. I'd like to be a part of this show. This is easy to say, but I'm pretty sure that I would have called Viffer's all in bluff against Troy's queens. It's all about playing the player. And Viffer knew that Troy was playing scared. Plus, Troy should have considered that, if Viffer is bluffing, Troy doubles up. If Viffer did have the ace, Troy goes home with nothing, which was the way that the game was going anyway. At this point, I've qualified for the PokerStars Big Game audition video twice. And I'm going for a third time this weekend. Daniel: Shouldn't the show want someone, like me, who can keep his cool, knows the game and the players, isn't afraid to go for it, and is a multiple audition qualifier?I'm ready to play when I get the invitation.I've posted this a couple of times. But, if it helps me to get on the PokerStars Big Game, it's worth it.
Based on how often you insult the pokernews staff and act like a pompous douchebag on this forum I doubt your begging will help. Best of luck though!
  12. I completely agree with WhatArunAA. Ive lived out here for 3 1/2 years now and would definitely recommend occupying a job prior to getting out here. Any job. Our economy and job market isn't what it nearly was when I first moved here.
+1 to the job search and the 3 1/2 years of living out here.
