I believe the 3 raise cap is a disadvantage to the better players. While I understand the reasoning behind not wanting to waste the time of others at the table, it is costing me money! There are too many psychotic maniacs willing to go more than 3 raises with less than the nuts, especially at the lower limits. I haven't played a ton of online poker as I live in Vegas, but is it common practice online for there to be a four raise cap when heads up? In every brick and mortar card room I've ever played in it's unlimited. Granted, the rules change a bit as to when the cap is established, 3 or 4 raises etc. Am I the only one who thinks that is a little, for lack of a better word...wimpy?[/b]
