PLHE and PLO are a great combo. In my home game, we play pot-limit hold'em, omaha, stud and triple draw. We call it HOST.

reese doesn't play the hold'em as well as others, and farha just won that o/8 at the series, but he said that it was only his second o/8 tourney. he also isn't considered a great limit poker player.

I completely agree. I do play HORSE sit-n-gos on Full Tilt. The home game I play in is Pot-Limit: Hold'Em, Omaha, Stud, & 2-7 Triple Draw. While I do like the HORSE sit-n-goes, it is still limit, which is just show down poker and way too much stud.

I have an idea for DN and the other pros. It seems that all the big name pros have a great relationship with the Bellagio, Bobby Baldwin, and Jack McClennon. Why not sit down with those guys and turn the Five-Star World Championship into the new WSOP (maybe call it the World Championship of Poker). Right now that event is all no-limit hold'em, but maybe they could change it. Instead of having a great deal of events like the world series, they should cut back the events to a few and just have 1 of each event and shedule enogh time in between events so you don't have 3 or 4 events going on t

I understand those of you who feel they should play HORSE at the final table. However I have a better idea. If this is supposed to be the ultimate test of poker, why no have a mix of NLHE, PLO, and maybe even NL 2-7. This would cover all limit games, and no limit and pot limit. Then an "ultimate" champion would be crowned. The only game missing from the big game is 2-7 triple draw.

Everyone always talks about the biggest, juiciest, cash games that go on during the series. So, my question for DN is why hasn't he been playing in any of them? I bet they got 3 tables of the big game going. DN is always complaining about all the hold'em, so why not take a couple days off and make some money in the cash games.
