All I know is that 5 years ago if you would have told me I would be reading a blog weekly about a guy who plays poker for living, I would tell you your crazy. Then if you would have told me the guy looks like he belongs on the circut with Riverdance and has a little girl dog he protects with his life, but can play poker off his ass, I would have told you you were really crazy.Then I would ask "wtf is a blog?"

Yeah..you're right, that was funny when Raymer completely owned Matusow.If Matasow would have done that routine on somebody that he busted would it have been funnier? I just saw the clip of Matasow telling Raymer he had little bitty balls while Mike had giant Cohanas. As far as Black Jack i'm no card counter because I like to drink and watch/talk to people. The two things I have noticed from Las Vegas Black Jack.1. You will never win with 8 deck shoes. The majority of your basic strategy is to hold when dealer has 2 - 6. But the dealer seems to always makes a hand with 8 decks. Don't try to tell me there are more tens for the dealer to bust.2. CarWarfe, It is not rocket science. I really don't care about reads I just know that you or anybody else cannot read me. It is impossible. I can convince myself my hand sucks and if I think my hand sucks then what are you going to pick up. This is a tricky subject. I am new to poker and only goof around online occasionally. I don't know the answer so I will ask: Is playing poker (live) more about the percentages/mathmatical probabilities or is it about reading your opponents? If not then don't worry about it.My real question is that I am going to Vegas in a week and a half and have never played poker in a casino. I have played on pokerstars for fake money but thats about it. Any suggestions about a casino that has a newbie class or a newbie tournament or something to get me started.
