If you call and ask for customer retention and complain you will usually get a good price/deal for at least 12 months. When they tried to jack up my internet price I called and told them I am going to switch because of the price change; they lowered me back to 29.95/mo for the high tier roadrunner service (which would normally be 49.95/mo). So not only did my bill go down, the speed went up significantly. In 12 months the price will jump back up again, and I will call and complain again (this was the 3rd time i've done it). Apparently the owners have a crazy medical thing and need to gtfo quick - so they pretty much are letting the bank set the terms, they need whatever they can get to cover 100K in medical bills. Agent is saying 2 months max.The huge hassle is I can't just "make an offer". We have to get approved for the financing, we cannot make an offer contingent on selling our own house, and to get approved for another 200K we would have to list our current house to show the banks we are actively trying to sell.Not to mention we would have to actively shop it around a bit cause on the off chance we did get

I have some questions if anyone could help. I'm not buying what the seller agent is saying. The long and short of it is that it is a short sale and bank owned property. It's worth $320K tax value and $350K if you were to use sqft comps in this neighborhood.It is listed at $289K - she is wanting to get in even lower offers to the bank to show them that is the best they can do and they aren't going to get more. So in her estimation it could sell for $280K-285K.My thought is that no way in hell does someone not end up offering at least $300K+ on this property to seal the deal.So what say you,
