  1. trueI just noticed you're from LaCrosse, WI. I'm from Winona, MN. Wanna get a hotel room and spoon?
  2. I also find it funny that many people have said I'm one of the nicest successful players, while I have others saying I'm the most cocky, arrogant person they've ever met. I can assure you that if you knew me or even met me in real life that you would never say that or get that impression of me.-Hub
  3. As for others, I didn't read every reply but skimmed through most.In regards to my schooling, I talked to 2 advisors from my school. One of them actually told me to stick with poker and if I ever need my degree to go back when I need it. College isn't going anywhere people. Credits don't expire. It's come to the point where finishing my last semester could cost me close to 6 figures (opportunity cost: time lost from not playing poker) for a semester that technically only costs about $3,500. What the article did not say is when I talked it over with my parents my dad actually told me he th
  4. I was told my someone else about this thread who will remain nameless. I was never anything but nice to you and always respected your game & you as a person when I played with you. That said, I have no idea how you have a problem with me. Perhaps you saw me berate someone when I was in a ridiculous downswing. I don't do it often but I'm human so it happens. I am confident but am respectful of others for the mostpart. Others talk trash to me constantly but I rarely reply, etc... Again, I always respected you and have no idea what your prob w/ me is.
  5. lol. ty sir. I sent you an email.-Hub
  6. Anyone who wants this please email their support. They've been talking about it forever but haven't added it yet. It would be a nice addition for SNG players.
  7. I forgot to specify that I meant Pokerstars. All pokerstars turbos are 5 min levels.
  8. If anyone wants to help me out, please email support asking them to add 6 man turbo SNGs in the $325 range.Thanks,-Hub

  10. Do you guys think 4 tableing the $27 turbos would be a good place to start 4 tableing. I have the bankroll for anything up to $215s so that is not a concern. Is 4 a good # of tables to start with or should I try more/less? Is $27 a good buy-in level to start at?
  11. I edited the post to make it easier to read. Sorry about that. I appreciate that you responded anyway. I will definitely need to make some strategy adjustments. I make a lot of position raises earlier in the 6 mans due top the large # of dionks that I can outplay post-flop. I still play tighter than most though. I know that the most money you can make is in cash games. My ultimate goal is to switch to cash games. However, I would like to put in more time to study the game before I do this. I feel like it would be a much easier transition to full table SNGs. I probably won't play c
  12. I have been playing strcitly 6 man SNGs for quite some time now as I feel like I am a better 6 man player than full table. It has been my sole source of income for about 8 months now. During the summer I usually play 40 hours a week and average around 20 or so durig the school year. I have 1 year left of college & plan on playing as my job when I'm done. I have done really well multi tableing the $38s on Stars. My most recent stats for 6 tableing are a 20% ROI with a $50.54 hourly rate over 1,800+ SNGs. This is all great and I would have no problem maintaining my current hourly wage. My co
  13. No offense, but most people who say play for 1st don't quite understand SNG play as well as they could and probably don't have the ROI that they could achieve if they studied the game more. You play SNGs to cash. You don't go all out playing for first. You play MTTs for first, not SNGs. Simply cashing in a 6 man SNG already nets you 35% of the prize pool. Even if your opponent has a big chip lead you can still easily come back considering most of your opponents are donks anyway. Also, 6 man SNGs allow for a lot of post-flop play. Therefore, you can usually build yourself a pretty nice s
  14. I certainly have read HOH. A lot of the M concepts in HOH apply don't really apply to SNGs. The reason is because simply cashing is already 20% of the prize pool (or in the case of the 6 man SNGs I play: 35%). Therefore, SNGs require much tighter bubble play. Don't get me wrong, I loved the HOH books (except maybe with the exception of HOH3) but if you live and die by the M advice he tells you in his books you will get creushed in SNGs.
