As of late I have been noticing this more and more, and it is driving me crazy. Why, when referring to a goalie playing in a hockey game, is he referred to as being "in nets".Examples:"Wow, the Mapleleafs have a bad record with Justin Pogge in nets""And in nets tonight, #1 in your program, #1 in your hearts, Arturs Irbe!"Why is the word "net" pluralized in to the word "nets"? Is the goalie in more than one net at the same time? Is some worldwide inside joke that I'm not in on? Is it some sort of 5 grade grammar rule that is the reason I failed 5th grade english?

6-1 is not a "smaller guy". I didn't mean think thornton or lecavalier in terms of the type of player Turris will be, I meant in terms of the speed of his development. Those guys only had big years 6+ years into their careers. Iginla is another guy that took till his mid-twenties to break out, which is not uncommon.

Turris will be a slow developer. Think Lecavalier or Thornton.

The draw for me to come isn't the poker in the HOF, it's more meeting and having a good time with the FCHL guys. So I kind of want to wait until we all go to vegas or something to make some bad financial decisions.
