  2. Good job so far vick...gonna have to make a move soon tho.
  3. I wouldn't mind doin some railbirding....what table?
  4. True, but the true fans would appreciate the finer points of the game...unfortunatly, the majority are not true poker fans.
  5. Some douche said "I call you all in" in a home tourney tonight, I said "no you don't... only I can put myself all in" Fucking douchbag.ZachI've got a guy at a regular home game who says that about 4 times every time we play....REALLY pisses me off.
  6. The majority of the audience doesnt know how to play which is the reason for the format.Yes that's a good point The majority of the audience doesnt have the time or interest to watch all that. I'm taking a guess that this show had lower rating.Well it wasn't 3 hours straight, it was broken up...1 hour each week...each of which was the best poker I'd ever seen.
  7. i agree that its an all in fest but the Main Event would be 100 episodes if they showed more hands that weren't all ins.Well they should just split the final table into 2 or 3 hours, or have the television final table a table of 6 a la WPT.
  8. Anybody else tired of awful poker being broadcast on tv? Well it's not so much the caliber of play necessarily, but the hands which are chosen to be showen. I just watched a the 2005 WSOP circuit event in Lake Tahoe, and it was hardly anything more than 10 all-in hands, with no real play in bewteen, save for a semi-intresting heads up match. Having a ten player final table broadcast in 1 hour doesn't lend itself to entertaining tv, at least not for anybody who actually knows how to play. I also recently watched The American Poker Championship, which showed the final table broken up into three
  9. Games Grid is officially unistalled from my comp....I feel sooooo much better now.
  10. My guess is, the way the site is operating right now.... They already are.very true
  11. My guess is, that after all this negative feedback, the site will go bankrupt in a week.
  12. Why the **** are there disconnect all-ins in a tournament??
  13. So I dl'd this ****in shitty software for nothin? this is retarded!
  14. Hey just wondering if there's anybody out there who makes their living playing predominantly sng's. And if so, at what kind of buy-ins?
  15. I play alot of sng's at Ultimate bet, mostly cause of the multi-tabling ease of the mini view (don't have high enough resolution for full tables), just wondering where you all think the best site to play em is either for easyness of games, or good setup or whatever.
  16. Hello, I'm looking for opinions on which is the best online site for cash games, as well as which sites are best for tournaments. Bare in mind that I would like to play other games than just Hold'em. (Stud, Stud H/L, PL Omaha etc.) If you have an opinion on a site (negative or positive), hook me up.
  17. The problem with the main event is simply the buy-in. $10,000 was alot of money back in 1978, but these days it's barely more than a single big bet to the top pros. The buy in should be $100,000 or at least $50,000. There would still be lots of amateurs money to be won via elaborate satellite structures, online as well as live, but would reduce the number of overall entry's. And if the public still wants a "poker lottery" then have a secondary "Main Event" with a buy in of the traditional $10,000.
