A first, second and 3rd for a 21 year old 36 goal scorer is a pretty good deal.from a value standpoint, the trade is terrible and the offer sheet plan is even worse. it's FOR SURE a step in the wrong direction.but it is exciting, I'll give them that. -

Anaheim doesn't play very often in the FCHL schedule, making players from Anaheim less valuable than it seems. Last year Boston played 54 out of 75 game nights, while anaheim only played in 33. It's a pretty big disparity.That being said, Getzlaf looks ****ing great sandwiched in between Parise and Staal on my rosteris getzlaf like super expensive or something? I mean obviously I don't know much about your team situation or the guy you just drafted and somewhat about your league as a whole but yea. maybe you're expecting a rebound for kristian? -
I thought after he dropped so much in the NHL draft that I'd have a chance at getting him. I guess not.Hopefully I will make the 10th overall pick soon never. I wasn't even in the conversation!Yeah, what does he have, a whole 14 fewer NHL points than the guy who went #1 overall?Sterling may have turned out to be a bad pick, but after getting Patrick Kane #2 overall I was in a position to go for a homerun swing, so I took a guy who had just finished putting up 55 goals as a rookie in the AHL. Given the information I had at the time, I'd do it again. -
I hope Burke trades/dumps Van Ryn and Frogren, keeps Kaberle and White, then tries to sign Kaberle to an extension next summer.The leafs need the puck moving presence of Kaberle, and the PP skills of white or else they'll have a very one dimensional blueline. I also hope Tlusty gets a permanent spot in the top 6 to see if he can make it as an NHL player.

I don't hate him, but I usually don't watch him. He just doesn't do it for me for some reason.I Love Hrudey. Hughson and Cuthbert are tied for the best play by play guys. Healey is an *******, so is Ferraro. I like Crawfords analysis, but I can understand if people find him too Canucj friendly. How can anyone hate Hrudey? -

Got some man-crush for this guy. To me, very informative, knowledgable and frankly, just a guy I want to listen to talk. He really loves the game, and that comes across. And he is very positive, and has his priorities straight.Pang: Was once a huge favourite. Then, he became the PHX colour guy, and I noticed how he suddenly became a homer for these telecasts. I abhor homerism, and he was as guilty as anyone. Watch 20 Phx games a year, and you'll almost be ready to believe they are Stanley Cup contenders. He just overdoes it, tries way too hard to sell the game by selling the Coyotes. I realize thats what he has to do, but as someone who knows Martin Hanzal is good but not the next Lecavalier, its a little hard to stomach. That said, love him anytime he's away from the Coyote Ugly.Patrik Stefan was a sad case for me. I feel bad for what happened to that guy and how quickly his career ended.Funny note: When my son was like a few months old, I got him to point at the name of a hockey player in my pool magazine and pick a name for me to go after.......he chose Stefan. I took Stefan EVERY year in my main rotiss auction pool, often paying way too much. Oops. -

The Hurricanes defeated the asdfjkl; last night to take the semi finals series 4 games to 2.The Hurricanes are now looking to defend their championship last year against the Altona Maroons.
