Last night's episode was fantastic.Also, since I don't think there is a Parks and Rec thread (nor did I bother searching), I just want to say that last night's ep was maybe the best P&R episode yet.

AMC has another new show, Rubicon, premiering in August. Though it obviously remains to be seen if it will be a hit.

Well, the last episode was kind of strange because it was designed as a season finale or even a potential series finale. The season originally only had a 13 episode order and didn't get the additional six until well into production. I thought the last episode was great, though.

Treme is a new HBO series set in New Orleans three months after Katrina. It is created by David Simon (The Wire).Did anybody else catch the pilot? I thought it was fantastic, and I can't remember the last time I was this excited about a show. In a similar fashion to The Wire, Simon drops the audience right into this world that we know nothing about. Never bothering to properly explain the characters or their seemingly foreign dialect.
