Greasing a few palms is usually how people can get good dealing jobs in Las Vegas without juice. I know where I work "supposedly" the last handful of new hires paid $1k each for their spots. My poker room manager told me for a spot at the Bellagio the going rate is like $4k.

I work with Chip Resses X girlfriend. When she came into work I asked her about Archie the Greek and If she had any stories about him. The first thing she said was that he started his insane run by playing pool against Bobby Baldwin.

Never said it was his fault if the room was a success or not just sayin he is a idiot to get himself fired from such an incredible opportunity. You yourself are starting to make a name for yourself, if you had an opportunity to have a sweet job like this would you not show up for a month? -

100% true. -
Grinder got canned from Planet Hollywood for not metting his contract requierments. What a joke this guy is. All he needed to do was show up 3 nights a week for the 7pm tournament, take some pictures, talk to some tourists, and play a $60 tounament. 3 days a week for max 5 hours a day and he would earn $700,000+ a year! Are you kidding me?! I don't know what you guys think but I would kill for a job like that! What a donkey!!

About 2 years ago at the Aladdin poker room on a 3-6 game I saw 2 players go 17 bets on the river of a AT29A board.Player 1 holds A4Player 2 holds A5for a chopped pot!About 2 weeks ago on a 1-2nl game player 1 makes a small raise preflop and gets 1 caller. Flop comes out 10-7-2 rainbow player 1 makes a continuation bet and player 2 puts him all in. Player 1 says he thinks he's beat but he can't lay it down and finally calls. Player 2 flips over KT off for top pair and player 1 insta mucks. One of the players told him he still had the turn and the river to see and he says he was drawing dead a

It looks pretty nice. Very spacious and they doubled the starting chips for all the tournies. Anyone who's heading to Vegas anytime soon should check it out.

Back in the day before the poker boom tournament chips looked very similar to real chips. I've heard stories where guys would snag tournament chips take them to the strip clubs and get a **** load of lap dances paying strippers in no-value tournament chips.

LOL!!!! Find me a sucker in that game and I'll give you a million bucks, I swear!

Ditto Ill take 2 one black one red

I love how people form an opinion of someone like Doyle Brunson by the small % of hands shown on television in tournaments. He's only been a winning player for like 60 years. But once on ESPN WSOP he made a bluff and got caught. Yea your right. He must not be that good

I work in a casino and have worked in a casino for a few years now. Trust me something like this can happen and does happen. I know instances where floormen have freefrolled players in tourney and/or just taken the entry fee and never actually signed the player up on paper. If you don't believe me next time your in Vegas play the Sahara tournaments and when you get to the final table get an accurate chip count. It won't even be close to what the chips in play are supposed to be. One time there were 18K more chips in play than there should have been!
-
I realize that. What I'm saying is did everyones money who signed up to play make it to the prize pool? Or did they take some players $10K, pocket it, give em chips, and put them in the tourney? That would account for extra chips in the tournament.
