Tonight I'm gonna go play cards and am deciding between foxwoods and Mohegan sun. I was wondering if anyone has played at Mohegan Sun yet?I've played at Foxwoods before and I think the room is decent. The wait can kinda suck (even at 2/5) and the games aren't that soft, but they're fine. I have to make this computer simulator program that imitates a Blackjack game.I've only played blackjack a few times so there's a small detail that i'm not familiar with. When you split a pair (of let's say 8's for example). Does this first 8 get dealt a card, and you can hit or stand, and then the second 8 gets its second card and you play that hand. Or do both 8's get dealt a card, and then you choose if you want to hit or stand on the first hand and then choose if you want to hit or stand on the second hand.Thanks.

This has been discussed before, but my question is much more specific than anything I could find using the search feature.I think poker has become mainstream enough where an open-minded recruiter or company would not hold it against you if you put it on you're resume that you play poker. Simo is right.For poker players, some of you are surprisingly bad at math.The 20 you have lost, is a sunk cost. It doesn't matter any more. It may "matter" to you, but mathematically they are two independent and separate things. It's kinda like figuring out your pot odds in a hand. The total amount in the pot matters a lot more than how much you have invested personally. Not a great analogy, but maybe it might clear something up.

I played with them in Montreal.I should've worn a tin foil hat. I don't usually ever claim games are rigged. I'm a believer that there are more beats online b/c you see more hands. But the Poker Pro tables are ****ing shady.I ran like a ****ing god. I saw 7 pocket pairs and 5 of them hit sets. Every flush draw/open ender I saw hit on the turn/river. I flopped bottom set against two other players two pairs. I flopped a set against TPTK. Then i flopped the nut flush against an over pair and middle set. It was ****ing ridiculous.Anyone else think they deal out wayyyy too many good hands
