Carter might be a really good fit. I just hope anyone who comes to Toronto is motivated to play for a team that is clearly on the rise. Carter was excellent in Philly, but this year has been a bust for him so far. He doesn't normally seem to be bothered by injuries and I think he might be comfortable here without being considered a "saviour", as TO already has bona fide scoring threats.

HaywireGina Carano is pretty awesome. The plot is lean and well-executed, with the usual Soderburgh panache. The music is good and there is no music during the well coreographed fight scenes, which is nice. I haven't seen Drive yet, but I'm guessing the no-nonsense screenplay with minimal frills are similar.Did I mention Gina Carano is pretty AND awesome?
