I agree with xxxmen. We should be happy he shares what he does at all. There are some name players that don't even give us the tiniest glimpse of their life.

From Cardplayer:Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi is all in preflop against one opponent. Mizrachi shows pocket queens and his opponent show Ks-Qd. Unfortunately for Mizrachi, the flop comes Kc-10d-4c, pairing his opponents king. Now Mizrachi is in bad shape, down to two queens or runner-runner straight to stay alive. The turn brings the 3s, and the river the 2s, and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi is eliminated on day 1.----I'm not delibreately trying to catch mistakes, but since the Grinder had pocket Q's and his opponent had KQ, then they say after the flop he is down to "two queens" to try to catch up. So, I assume they are using a 5 Queen deck?I think they're just in too much of a rush to report.

Oh, I see what they did. Cardplayer mixed up two different hands. That other board was for a hand for Williamson. Of course, it's fixed now.

Another confusing thing from Cardplayer:David Williams Doubles UpLog: David Williams is all in preflop against one opponent. Williams is dominating in the hand with Ad-Kd against his opponents Ah-Qh. The flop comes 10-7-7-10-2, and David Williams doubles up to stay alive.How does he double up? Isn't that a split pot?

From cardplayer:David "The Dragon" Pham has been eliminated. Pham pushed all in preflop with a short stack and was called by his opponent who showed pocket kings. "The Dragon" flipped over pocket jacks and will need help to stay alive. The board came Ah-Jh-9h-7h giving Pham a jack high flush but his opponent has the king high flush. David "The Dragon" Pham has been eliminated.----Am I missing something here? How does he have a J high flush if the J is on the board?

He'll get lots of rest between tournaments, since the next one he's scheduled for is like more than two weeks away on the 16th of February at the Commerce.Too bad ... but maybe he can really use a few days of rest. I didn't even know there was an OffTopic forum, until one of my posts got moved to there one time and I thought it disappeared or got deleted because I couldn't find it since I wasn't logged in.

Daniel, I thought you were a vegetarian, not a vegan. When and why did you decide to make that change?The difficult part about me being on the road is proper nutrition, especially since I am a vegan. I plan on eating extremely healthy, though, and will focus on making sure I'm getting enough protein. -
Thanks for all the support guys. Yeah, I wasn't sure how timing worked on the subtitles. Now I know how to exetend them better.Suited up, at fist I thought it was very limited, but as you get more used to it you realized there a decent amount of variety to choose from. So, yeah, it's worth getting.

My friend just gave me a copy of "The Movies" for Christmas. This is my first movie. I'm still trying to learn how to use everything. This is not quite related to this topic, but I've seen it in this particular thread to know that this pertains to some of the people writing here. What exactly does this phrase "pwned" mean? I mean, I get the basic jist of it. Meaning something along the lines that you have near total control or domination of something or someone. But, where exactly did it come from? How did it originate? If it's some of the terms I think it means or came about then shouldn't it be p-apostrophe-wned, ie. p'wned? Which is actually a horrible contraction if it is one. What is happening to the English language? It seems to get butchered more and more every decade. I see so many grammar mistakes, punctuation mistakes, and capitalization errors online so often it almost scares me. It's a shame how rapidly the English language is deteriorating. And with younger and younger people communicating and conversing with computer online, it will only make things worse. I just hope this does not carry over to formally written letters and whatnot. A lot of you probably don't care and of course everyone is titled to their own opinion. So, that is just my opinion on the subject. You can agree with me, which would be comforting to know that some people also feel this way, or not agree. However, I did not write this for people to take it as a reason to start writing negative comments and posts about what I have to say.

Actually, I agree with the original poster. I've only played heads up limit Hold'em twice online and both times I start out doing really bad. But, I adapted to it and adjusted according to the situation. I've noticed I was doing bad because I was taking a very passive approach in the beginning. Once I had my opponent figured out, I clawed my way back and them some. So, I guess the beginning losing part can be thought of as an investment. In fact there were a few hands I called with bottom pair or just Ace high just to see what he hand and figure him out. Btw, I even took a few of those pots just trying to look him up. Once I realized how he playing, I changed my style and used it back on him. Meaning things like pushing back with an Ace high or something.

I few months ago, I asked some of you guys if Daniel mentioned he was going to be in a drink commercial. I had trouble finding where I read about it before and thought maybe it was a dream. Even you guys said I just dreamt about it.You guys just made me think I was going crazy. Well, now that it has aired, I now know that I'm not going crazy.I swear, I think I read it in one of his blogs before and then he removed it or something.I don't know. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
