SB is at seat 4 with x
Hero is at seat 5 covers.
The button is at seat 3.

SB posts the small blind of $.25.
Hero posts the big blind of $.50.


Hero: 8h Kc Kh 7c

Pre-flop:

CO calls. Button folds. SB calls. Hero checks.

Flop (board: 7h Jc Th):

SB checks. Hero bets 1.50. CO calls. SB folds.

Turn (board: 7h Jc Th 9d):

Hero bets 2.75. CO raises to 11.75. Hero folds.


What am I doing here? Ugh.

Your fold on the turn appears to be correct.

1) draws arent to the nuts in a multiway pot
2) out of posistion
3) pot is small and unraised

i dont think i would even bet the flop.

I probably raise preflop (I run at about 55/22 playing 6max), but just to build a bit of a pot early.

Check the flop. That flop is highly likely to have hit your opponents in multiple ways. You have a non nut FD and a non nut gutshot.

I don't mind the bet on the turn, but I think I prefer a c/c line.
