I mean, 3500 will show you if you were winning over your last 3500 hands, but it won't tell you anything about your long term winrate. Hell, I played 2368 hands yesterday alone, and lost money, and I'm pretty sure I'm a winning player long term... so you catch my drift.
For long term winrate, a lot of people used to say 10,000 to get a decent approximation, but honestly, I've got through 25,000 hand downswings/break even stretches, so I'd like to see like 30-40k hands before making any serious considerations about my winrate, but even more is better.
