When we come to this hand , with double suited board ;

is it a better line to check?

What if he check-raises , are we folding / calling / pushing? (I lean towards folding since we aren't commited much and its -EV since at most we are chopping)

What if we pot , he calls , a scare card come on river (any flush card and T , J and Q) , he bets 10 on river. Do we call?

Weren't you playing at $200 a few months ago?

I think a check raise is a call with a call pf, I do not think he has a high enough hand made to warrant a c/r.

If a scare card does come out on the river. I think it is a pretty easy fold if he bets out large or c/r

Nah I ve never played 200$. I will one day tho!!

No. We have the nuts. Make villain pay to outdraw us.

We call IMO. We could even bluff off another JT if he seems weak on a scary river (if say the board pairs and he checks or leads 1/4 pot).

Definitely. Maybe raise if you think it's a sign of weakness.

Of course not. But I will bet about $9 instead of potting. You are telling the whole world you've made teh straight on the turn. While your hand is bettable on the turn, it may not be on the river. By betting 3/4 of the pot you are confusing your villain as if you are drawing or having the nuts or playing your position so you may get a free checking on the river when it scares the nuts out of you.

That's why you don't want to pot the turn. I will still call if c/r'd because there are many different reasons that he's playing back on you.

Call, but this is more a read-dependent question.

Here's a hand I just played and it's how I bet with my nuts on the flop. I've been active and talked trash on the table. But anyway UTG sucks (and sucked out on me before but gave back to the others. smile.gif ...)

Look, if I potted the flop, the result could be very different.

Welcome to 6-max.

I see. Not potting seems to confuse opponents.
