i know i shouldnt post the results, but should i have folded and waited for a better spot to put my chips in

I had a K so the chances of him having KK werent great, Im just wondering if I should have folded

Nope. This is no different than running into AK in a hold' em tourney when you get all-in with QQ and losing a race. This is just one of those spots where you're going to have to get lucky to move forward.

Remember, in any big-bet tournament, just having chips is enough of an advantage that you usually want to take risks where you can unless you're shortstacked on the bubble. Just because you lost doesn't mean you did something wrong.

You played this one perfect imo because you waited until the turn where you had the better edge to shove and there's only one card left to come. Unfortunately for you your villain had over 20 outs in the remaining 45 cards. It's just like a 50:50 gamble. But against average hand in everyday situation you play is fine.
