Now, clearly at least one of these guys has aces. But I think it's pretty likely I'm going to end up getting 2:1 on my whole stack. Do you agree with my call?

I've seen UTG follow-up his preflop raise with a pot-sized bet on the flop. I suspect he's pushing aces hard. I don't have much to say about UTG+2. There' s been nothing out of line as of yet from him.

Yes. You are definately getting good enough pot odds here.

I's close actually. You're in good shape against AA and AA, you're in terrible shape against AA and AKQJ or QQ or whatever.

I'd be inclined to fold it, actually. It's close enough not to really matter, but why throw your whole stack out there on a coinflip or occasionally worse preflop? Iincidentally I don't mean coinflip as in your 50/50 to win the hand I mean it as you're likely 33% to win it.

good luck.

You have to call getting laid these odds. One definately has aces and sometime's both of them will. The other might have a hand like 9876 and you'll be in excellent shape.

Really? What kind of odds are we getting here? We're only in for $30 and it's $290 to call. I'm not saying we shouldn't call, as we're favored against two AA hands, and against AAxx and KKxx, we probably have about 33% equity, but I really don't think "great pot odds" is a primary reason to be in the pot.

For me, it would come down to what kind of players you're up against. If they're reasonably tight, then youre chances of getting great odds against two AA hands, make this a situation where you have to call. However, if one's a donkey, then you'll probably be walking into something like AKQT as well in which case you need to get out of this pot as fast as possible.

Nonsensical.

You have to call when it's +EV. This is on ballance neutral EV. It's not a tournament. It's flipping a coin for you whole stack. That's silly. I don't think it really matters much either way if you call or fold, but it's absolutely not a mistake to fold this.

good luck.

A little follow up here. The actual hands were the following:

UTG: A icon_suit_spade.gif A icon_suit_heart.gif K icon_suit_spade.gif Q icon_suit_heart.gif (0.391)
UTG+2: A icon_suit_club.gif A icon_suit_diamond.gif T icon_suit_club.gif 6 icon_suit_club.gif (0.290)
Hero: Q icon_suit_diamond.gif J icon_suit_spade.gif T icon_suit_spade.gif 9 icon_suit_diamond.gif (0.319)

The all-in call costs me $298. It gives me 0.319 * (329 * 4) = 315 in pot equity. So (in this particular case), I make $17 by making the call. I'm fortunate to have a live suit here (diamonds). UTG's hand is unusually good, though. I think it's a close call.

This call is -ev by itself but if your opponents are paying attention it may be good for metagame
