So I went to a hockey game on Wednesday, and proceeded to get as drunk as possible (brought a flask full of Vodka, killed it in the first period, had 4 more Vodka Tonic's from the bar over the course of the rest of the game, then went to the bar after the game). Got home at around 1am, and decided "Hey! I feel like playing some poker!" (Don't tell me you've never done it smile.gif

Anyway, I donked off $50 in about 10 minutes playing 2-4 limit, don't even remember how. Played a $10 SNG, went out quick, played .25/.50 PLO for another $10 loss before I decided I really needed to go to sleep.

Got home from work last night and decided to see how much damage I did. Pulled up my UB account, still had like $32 left of my initial $100 deposit. Being the bankroll-management king that I am, I put it all on the line at a .50/$1 PLO table, fully expecting to get my butt kicked and lose it all. Half an hour later, I had recouped all of my losses from the night before, and rang up a $95 profit on top of it ($32 starting stake, left the table with $195 in a half hour). Cashed out $150, left $45 on the site for another day. Not a bad ending to my worst drunken poker experience to date, I need to stop doing things like that!

Anyway, thought I would share. I don't recommend being a total moron, but somehow it worked for me this once.

There aren't many memorable hands to share, most of it was just having the nuts 5-6 times and betting the pot. People kept calling me because they couldn't believe how hard the deck was hitting me in the face. 3 nut flushes, 2 nut straights and a full house in a half hour.

sorry, never done it.

1. I hate losing money because I am fond of money.
2. I hate being drunk, specially when money is on the line.
3. Not much of a hockey fan
4. when I make a list like this, I usually like to have 4 points to it so this is 4.

I took a four night trip to Vegas recently where I had a hotel room two nights only. The whole time there (either slept, ate or played poker only) I had two drinks and that was just adding a little Kalua to my coffee. Alcohol and poker do not mix well. Next time you do this, please let me know where and when. I want to ... um ... watch.
