at most low limit plo games, i'm probably not raising this preflop from the SB, since EVERYONE is going to call, and you have terrible position.
at games where you can expect a few limp/folds, that raise becomes better, but not much.
otherwise, nh.

Are you asking for advice on the turn?
If so, that's an easy push. You have 16 outs to either a nut flush, nut boat or quads and are getting nearly 3:1 if he calls. So you're getting good odds, and that's assuming you are behind, which isn't always the case.
On the flip side, there are a lot of cards that can come that would absolutely suck (any non club 2578), so you can't just check it here.

I don't really know what I'm asking, come to think of it,
I pushed all-in on the turn, which was the remaining 60 some dollars I had, he immediatly called with his remaining 40 dollars, the river came a 5, and he turned over a 7 and an 8 for a 4-8 straight.
This should be in the bad beat forum I guess.
I think my real question is,
Should I have not even played this hand?
Is this an automatic fold in the small blind with so many potential callers?
Or, did I play this fine, and chalk it up to Do-Do happens?
thanks

Well, I wouldn't raise preflop since you are out of position. Not raising also helps conceal your aces in case you get a lucky flop. Other than that, it looks fine. What other cards did he have with the 78? Any flush draw? It seems a bit ridiculous that he'd call with only a gutshot, but I guess I've seen worse.

he had a 3 and a 6,
so, he had 8c,7c,6c,3s.
He flopped a gut shot, bottom pair, and an 8 high flush.
On the turn he hit a second pair.
As it turned out, he was dead to 3 cards, since the 5c would have given me a higher flush.
He probably thought his 2 pair and flush draw were good on the turn and back-doored a straight.
I never would have made that call though.

your 2-1 favorite on the flop IF the guy flopped the straight, so there should be no problem with getting all your money in (at any time before the river) during this hand.
