Sorry i don't have the hand histroy, Paradise poker is just a mini site for me to play omaha tournies and try to qualify for large events. I'll keep it as simple as possible, i just want an opinion on my preflop play, not the result. Anyhow, I'm sitting at this typical loose .25/.50 PLO table, and i get
A icon_suit_diamond.gif A icon_suit_heart.gif 8 icon_suit_club.gif 4 icon_suit_club.gif two off the button.

Preflop: player4 calls.

The big blind is a maniac. %50 percent of the hands he played he raised, regardless of position. I didn't put him on aces, so should i repot? i didnt expect the two limpers to call, and i actually expected the BB to give himself a decent shot at winning by going all in and closing out the other two, but i guess not.

flop: 7 icon_suit_club.gif 8 icon_suit_heart.gif J icon_suit_club.gif

BB calls.

I'm i tied into this pot? I have a shitty flush draw and a bad flop, but more than half of my money is in the pot.

edit: sorry, i had the 4 of spades up in my hand at first. stand corrected.

AAxx is the biggest loser in Omaha. I fold the flop even though i kind of have a lot invested. I dont even know if i would repot in the first place. I call, and flop something or drop it. It's probably too tight to just fold AAxx preflop.

After the flop though, you are 99% drawing dead to a runner runner boat.

From late position I'd try to see a cheap flop with this hand. Easy laydown when this flop comes. With 3 others in the hand you are likely up against a made straight/wrap and nut flush draw and pretty much drawing dead already.

I figured as much, i called more out of anguish than anything. The BB was bluffing, as expected.

Aces have been win huge or lose everything when i get the possibility to repot, I will have to try some more conventional flop seeing approaches. Thanks for the thought

I try not to do this without stronger AA hands. You want one of them suited and a couple of high cards. Without that, much better to just take a flop before pushing.
