both are honest questions, especially the river one. remember that this game is damn loose.

i think the turn is pretty interesting. can we get a discussion on why the turn should be raised or called?

Based on the B&M players I play with, I like both plays. The turn destroyed A2, 62 is the only low that beats you. Unless it's suited to an A or K most people I play with won't stay with it. I like raising with lows like that, especially if I've flopped a nut flush or boat draw.

I find that value betting is a big part of O8. The river bet is a great value bet, even more so if there was 2 of a suit on the flop and a 3rd on the turn ot river.

Most O8 hand I play are multi-way to the river, so that is the perspecvtive I'm coming from.

Good to see ya back in the omaha forum, Aseem.

How is 62 the only low that beats him? 32, 42 both get him. Still, top trips, chcked to you on the river, I think if somebody boated on the turn they would have raised you there. Bet it.

I like the flop and turn as well. I looks like somebody hit their A on the turn and didn't believe you had the 7, or completed the 32. You're prolly splitting, but with a 3rd player in, bet.

Your'e right, I read his hole cards as board cards  That's what happens when you post after a 12 beer session tongue.gif

12 beers = ~EV. 16 = -EV, +PEE.

I would have raised the turn there as well.

On the river, if you bet, are you intending on calling to a raise, or re-raising? What about calling to a raise and a re-reraise, or capping it? That river card did not help your high hand at all, but certainly could have helped your opponents. You have an okay low, which I don't think you are splitting, but you may not even win that half. I think the river is a definate check. 8)
