On the button facing the blinds and you are dealt a pat J, is this an automatic raise everytime?

Almost everytime yes.

is this predraw in triple draw? if so, the J in your hand doesn't matter, cuz you're dumping it. what are the other cards?

Yes it is single draw. I ran decent my first session playing really agressive with pat 10's and 1 card draws, but then my secondn session i came back down to earth pairing every one card draw to a 9 or 8 low.
