8 handed playing HORSE

UTG limps, folds to button who limps, Im in the SB with 8h.gif 9h.gif 10c.gif jc.gif

OK to limp here for half a bet?
Is this an OBV fold if the button raised or would it be ok to call cause he could be stealing?

Thanks for the help

i think this is read dependent but remember if the board comes low you are only playing (and possibly drawing) to half the pot. Not worth it in o8 a lot of the time.

edit: definitely do not call a raise....

you want to get in cheap.

i would call a raise in a multi way pot.

I would call "a" raise with this hand even heads up. multiway obviously better and a limp is ideal and a definite call no matter how many players you are against. You're hand has a good shot at flopping big and if not it should be an ez one to get away from.

P.S. with this action "if" I was on the "button" or "CO" I would be raising this here

I would never call a raise with this hand heads up - I like money too much. With at least 4 others in, I'd call a raise out of a blind, but not cold - this hand is way too weak. Your flush cards are likely never good, and the straights are the old story - if you make the nut straight there is likely a low out so you are playing for half. This is no JTQKds.

heads up your flush draws are likely good and out of the blind I'm callin "a" raise here (alas I also like money) As far as the str8 issues obv. I'd prefer 910JQ or higher but 8910J isn't that bad IMO 567 is the only flop that hits u that still sux and depending on action in a 4 way pot could still end up being profitable
