converter's broke, keeps telling me that the game is zero handed

I am 100% new to O/8. I've played a lot of stud 8/b so i'm familiar with concepts of locking up the low and freerolling for the hi. I'm trying to learn this game because I hear that HORSE is where the dead money is at.

I think i'm UTG in this hand, I just wanted ot know if this is a callable hand in O/8. I know that my main objective should be to go from low to hi, but KKAQ has to ahve some type of showdown value if the flop comes down 2 high cards and 1 low card. While me being UTG in this hand may affect whether or not I can play it, would this hand be playable on the button?

others might not agree with me but I just fold this hand UTG. the ace isn't suited and with so many hand combinations out there it's hard to have this hand hold up unless you hit a nut hand.....in which you are not gonna get paid very much on usually.

On the button I might play this hand but only cheap and with as little limpers as possible. Omaha 8 is the game where every hand looks like AK in Hold'em......it starts off pretty but usually ends up letting you down.

you got it half right. I would limp UTG with this hand if the table has not been raising a lot preflop and would def limp in on the button and might raise depending on my table image and style of play. In "general" one way high hands play well in multiway flops when you can see the flop for cheap

Generally, a hi only hand is worth limping with in late position if the cards are all broadway, you have two pair in hand (AAKK), you have a pair with two suited cards (obviously you'd prefer the ace to be suited), or it's double suited.

This pair-broadway hand isn't suited and you're UTG, so dumping it isn't a bad call.
