With BB folding the turn, should I even be calling here with the draw because of odds?
Heart or T or 7 should give me around 25% to hit on the river correct?

I don't like it with your stack. Even if you hit you will win $3 more while already invested $5 in the pot. So i don't like a call here.

To make a push worthwhile you should have some Fold equity. I doubt he is ever folding to your push.

I think fold is right here no matter how painful it will be.

Depending on your read on SB , if you think he is leading into you with a wide range of hands here , i like repotting flop.

One of the few rules I still follow from PH's book "Play poker like the pros" applies here:

In order to call a pot bet on the turn (heads up), you need to have at least 13 outs.

You only have 12 outs, so this is a fold. It is important to note that 13 outs does not quite give you the correct pot odds, PH's argument comes that he is expecting to get paid off if he improves on the river. In your case, you have 12 outs to the nuts, and you don't have a reasonable stack to profit when you do improve.

I think this is a close decision, but a call is a long term loss.

good rule to play by - might save me some money

I would consider raising the flop, especially with BB's dead money in there.

I've done worse than to get it all in with 2 streets to come in a 3-way pot with nut flush and gutterball straight draws.

Agreed. In position I raise this flop willing to get it all in right there. If he flats your raise you can re-evaluate turn.

re-evaluate turn.

Repot flop , check behind on turn. My favourite line ever. I just LOVE it.

If we repot flop and get called in 2 spots our money is going in on any non paired turn. We're not deep enough to reevaluate any more than that.

that's my favourite line ever. not shark's
