PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T icon_suit_heart.gif , A icon_suit_club.gif .
3 folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, Button calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 7 icon_suit_club.gif , 3 icon_suit_spade.gif , 5 icon_suit_heart.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 3 icon_suit_heart.gif (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (6.50 BB) 9 icon_suit_club.gif (2 players)
Hero ...

my question is whether to bet or check with the intent of calling.

I don't think I can beat much that calls and I don't think he will fold a better hand. But, he would have a much wider range that he may try to steal with that I can beat. Is this correct thinking?

I would probably bet AK or AQ here... I think his most likely single hand is AJ, or maybe KQ or something like that. I prefer a c/c here, for all of your reasons.
