Pot is 5 way raised on the button, I have AAxx in bb and smooth call flop is AKK, and its checked around, turn is K I check button raiser bets pot I call one off button min raises............................thoughts?

Sorry, I stopped reading here. Repot and get HU with the button. Playing AAxx oop in a 5way pot sucks. Just ask me. I know. Bud and Simo are working hard to teach me these things.

How loose IS this table? If button pots, and you repot, very very rarely will the other 3 come along for the ride.

you absolutely must repot this OOP preflop to thin the field.

since you cold called, you should lead the flop for at least something, since the hands giving you action aren't going anywhere in a huge pot and no one's going to take a stab with nothing if the thing's five way.

assuming you check the flop also, the turn is a lead small/fold in my book. c/fing is relatively weak considering the flop checked around IMHO.

Believe it or not, the repotting AAxx out of the BB is an optional play that you can go either way on. I just call a lot of the time, depending on stack sizes and how good the aces are. If you're a tight player and you're never going to be 3-betting rundowns, I actually think never reraising AAxx OOP unless you can get over 1/3 of your stack in is probably correct.

it's a five way raised pot, i assumed this was the case.

but even so, i don't think we're 3betting nearly enough preflop if we're especially worried about 3betting AA in this spot. 3betting AA only becomes -ev if our opponents know for sure what we have and can play us with our hand face up, and i'd hope we're not that tight.

This table was extremely loose, In this game guys were taking a flop no matter what, so I decided to give up on that play and simply cold call and get all the value from when I have a huge hand that is disguised. I had tried repopping out of the blinds and rarely accomplished isolating the initial raiser, so at this table I believe it was correct to not inflate the pot OOP with guys that are willing to shove the flop with any small piece and wait for a bigger edge when I will get paide off anyway.

if that's the case, calling preflop is fine. i still think you need to get some money in on the flop, if only to inflate the pot against someone who hopefully makes a boat (and not quads, lol).

there are lots of online omaha tables that play this way. people are just looking to get involved in a huge pot. I think you played it fine and just got screwed on the turn. happens.
