QUOTE (bdc30 @ Thursday, December 6th, 2007, 10:39 PM)

My stats for the 3,400 hands are 22.07/8.83/2.35 with +9.27 bb/100 profit.
Don't worry too much about the graph. You're winning at 9BB/100. Who cares what your graph looks like? It is skewed a LOT by playing style. Aggro players tend to run above expectation because they suck out a lot more often (they start with worse hands more often).
All it means is that you're losing money in pots that don't go to showdown. When you're playing tight as you are, that's expected. You're showing down a lot more winners, so the sklansky bucks line will be pretty high. I'm not certain about the showdown winnings line though. I'll have to find out a little more about that.
Don't worry about it though.
Hand 1 is fine. You could argue for a call there, but I think folding is usually correct.
Hand 2 I raise the flop every time. You have 13 outs against dry aces, and 15 against dry kings.
Hand 3 I don't know why you're calling the flop.
Hand 4 I like.

For hand 3, I had the gutterball draw, and the 9 on the flop was a key card to making any of my straights. Thought even if I could pick up some kind of a combo draw, I'd let it rip on the turn and go to showdown. Change the 3

to the 7,8,T,J,Q (with

as super bonus) and I'd have gone all the way.

22/8/3.5, 483 hands, 25.81 bb/100. I like right in the middle, and about 3/4 of the way through where my showdown line is flat, but I'm still bringing in some pots. That is what I visualize as "optimal" for a graph to be

Yeah, I should have shoved. I immediately regretted the flat call. Usually I'm shoving anything there against him. I guess I saved money this time, but it's an easy shove in retrospect. Brainfreeze.
(That's the first hand where I've really felt like I made a bad/questionable decision in a long while).

I had AQTx with nut flush draw in that hand.
What do you guys think about getting the free card on turn? I did it because i think it helped me represent a monster while drawing for free so i could bluff a blank river if checked to me.

Repop it preflop. Against a guy playing ~32/22 you can easily isolate there with a good 3 card hand. What was your 'x'?
I like your flop raise obv.
FWIW, I almost never have a boat on the turn there. Maybe KQ4x, but that's pretty damn rare. Oh, and maybe 44xx, but again, that's rare. I can have KQxx or any number of draws. Probably not a huge draw though because I'd shove that. Honestly, if it wasn't you, I would have shoved. I don't know what came over me.
I was surprised when you checked behind, and I was suspicious of a FH, but I thought KQ or NFD were just as plausible.
I think you should have bet the turn. I can't call, but I might catch on the river and c/c a bluff. Don't give me a free card.
Why not try to take the pot there when a bet will be successful 90% of the time?

Come on bdc , you have seen and overcame worst. That's only 11 buyins in 4 days. Don't you remember my - 12 buyin days?
This is why we play overrolled. A bankroll to some is a day's variance for us.
Winning that back at 25$ will take forever. Keep grinding at 50$. You play good you put your money in the middle good , what else can you do?
Says nothing that we don't know but still helps to remember these :

bdc, does this make you feel any better. I haven't played in about 4 days because I have been running/playing quite bad and needed to take a break. Just logged on for a few hands while my wife drives home from work.
Notice what hand # this is.

You use Trillian too. Makes it so much easier to use AIM+MSN at the same time.
Oh, and you should mod FullTilt.

yeah, this is my "old" account that I haven't really played on. If I plan to play FTP I will def look at making the changes. For some reason they just don't seem to want me to play there.

how do you guys play a game that turns 10 buyins of sklansky bucks into -3 buyins of real dollars? lol. i haven't played plo consistently in ages, but the tables seem amazing on stars these days. it's just a terrible game to play if you never have a hand hold up.
on a related note, if you have any smack, ship it to me pls. i need a good ol' bender after the last two days.

I think you're overplaying aces.
What hands are you reraising OOP that aren't AAxx? I don't imagine it's a large range. You shouldn't reraise aces OOP for <15% of your stack if you aren't repopping a lot of other random hands.
I know you're trying to stay aggro, but I think you may be applying it in the wrong areas.
You are running bad no doubt about it. But, I think some of it may be down to poor decisions.

Yeah, the first thing I noticed was these all contain AAxx and my first instinct was to think you overplayed them. It is tough to argue for that though considering how good you got your money in each time.
