I would bet the turn for value. Hard to see UTG checking there with all those draws out there on the turn if you're behind somehow. Seems less likely he has AA/better jack due to the reraise on the flop.

i dunno look at the villains stats a flop raise is rather scary.Also a river raise sucks, because you are going to never get paid off by one pair hands from a nit.

Even if the only thing he pays us with is AK, we're still a 3:2 favorite against a very tight range (flopped boats, quads, or top two).

It is entirely possible that I am seeing monsters in my closet, but the flop reraise was scary to me. AA/AJ seemed very possible, as did a better jack. And when he checked the turn, I got very confused - why would he do that given the draws, and having raised PF and with the flop action, without a boat, unless he was going waaaay off the reservation (he had been pretty aggro preflop but post flop was passsssivvvvve). Once he did that i assumed he was either super strong or was full of it, and thought that the best course was to let him bluff/fire at a river and call him down.

I honestly believe that people do a lot of fruity things when they are "trapping." Checking the turn with Trips/AA/AJ is very likely in my opinion. I really don't see much value in a river raise without a read that he's a moron. And honestly, what do we do if we bet the turn and he shovels? Meh.

I don't know how you think AK is an insta-call to a minraise on this river. River minraises are basically always the nuts, and it's not really a great board for AK.

It's 7:1 with top two pair against a possible missed draw. If CobaltBlue posted a hand with this board, he'd be showing how to snap off a bluff with a queen kicker.

I never check that turn. Bet bet bet. We have trips with a drawy board and an ace showing. We're getting action. I think the only hand I worry about is QJ/JT and both got counterfeited on the river. I would have bet the turn and made the river a moot point.
