Jam-Fly 8
first or second round at this table so no real reads PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Hero ($224.50)BB ($38)UTG ($280.50)UTG+1 ($194)MP1 ($85.30)MP2 ($50.30)CO ($319.90)Button ($122.70)Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, T. 5 folds, Button calls $2, Hero completes, BB checks.Flop: ($6) J, 4, T(3 players)Hero bets $4, BB calls $4, Button calls $4.Turn: ($18) 9(3 players)Hero bets $14, BB raises to $28, Button raises to $42, OK, here, it seems pretty apparant button has a straight. I figured I'm like 10-1 (probs a bit more, but 10-1 is relatively close) here to hit my house, so to call $28, I have to be able to win $280. If I call and hit my house, I think it's pretty safe to say that I can win the rest of the button's stack on the river, and if I do not hit my house, I think I'm definitely folding. There's $102 in the pot atm, plus the $75 I can win off button on river if I hit, so $177-$28 are my odds. I figure he has a straight like 80% of the time and I have him beat 20% of the time. There's also the other possibilities that button has JJ, the BB is still in the pot, if board doesn't pair, I may be bluffed out if button does not have me beat etc.Thoughts? Moneyball16 0
Your always beat. You dont have implied odds and even if you did they are dirty cause someone could have J9 or JT and sometimes you call 28 more just to have to fold when BB pushes. So fold now.

Shark527 0
I would have checked the turn.
gobears 0
Easy fold on the turn with that action after you lead out. Money's take is right on.
AndyZ28 0
Might be nit picky, but if you're doing to bet the turn, bet $9 or 10. I'd rather see a check here. Sure you improved, but you got two other players behind you that are either drawing to the straight or the flush and the card likely completes one of them. Get to the river cheap. Even if you did fill on the river, I wouldn't raise. You're playing lower stakes and this is one of those hands where if another ten or nine drops, you'll have boat over boat situations. No sense in getting crazy with it.
mtdesmoines 2
Thoughts?Fold. You bet and the villains said they had better hands. This is almost always JT vs. straight. There's nothing for you here. Unless they are retards, why wouldn't we listen to them? Even if they are retards, why wouldn't we listen to them?
